BCECE 2017: Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board (BCECEB) will conduct BCECE 2017 on April 16 and May 14 for admission of candidates to B.Tech Programmes across the engineering colleges of Bihar. The entrance exam, BCECE 2017 is conducted in 2 stages. Stage I of BCECE 2017 will be held on April 16, while BCECE 2017 Stage II will be conducted on May 14. To conduct entrance exams for admission to first year of B.Tech courses, Government of Bihar constituted the board under BCECE act, 1995. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is conducted every year by the BCECE board. Application correction of BCECE 2017 is available from March 10 to 12, while the admit card of BCECE 2017 stage I will be available from March 21. The online application form of BCECE 2017 is now over. The application form of BCECE 2017 was available till March 6 (11.59 pm). BCECE Eligibility Criteria 2017
Aspiring candidates can find the eligibility criteria of BCECE 2017 below,
Candidates aspiring for BCECE 2017 must be citizen of India.
As qualifying exam for BCECE 2017, candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent with minimum of 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST) from any recognized Board/University.
They must have studied subjects Physics, Chemistry Mathematics/Biology as primary subjects in their 10+2 or equivalent.
Students who are going to appear for board in 2017 can also apply for the BCECE 2017.
No age restriction has been levied by the board for candidates applying to BCECE 2017.
BCECE Exam Pattern 2017
Know about the exam pattern of BCECE 2017 in details by going through the points below,
BCECE 2017 will be conducted in two stages.
First stage of the exam will be of 2 hours and 15 minutes duration. In stage 1 of BCECE 2017, a total of 150 questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50 questions from each subject).
While, attempting questions during the exam, candidates must mark answers very carefully to avoid negative marking. Each correctly marked answers will be awarded 4 marks but for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. Total marks for stage 1 of BCECE 2017 exam will be 600.
In stage 2 of BCECE 2017, separate exams will be conducted for the three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There will be 100 questions in each question paper and the total marks for a subject/paper will be 400 (4 marks per question). Each paper of stage 2 will be of 90 minutes and there will be a gap of 30 minutes between two consecutive papers.
For every answer marked correctly in stage 2 of BCECE 2017 exam, 4 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted. Total marks for stage 2 exam will be 1200.
BCECE 2017 Admit Card
BCECE board will release the admit card of BCECE 2017 in online mode for both the stages of the engineering entrance exam. Candidates who will be able to qualify the stage 1 of BCECE 2017 exam can only download the admit card of BCECE 2017 Stage 2 Admit Card. BCECE 2017 admit card for Stage I will be not be available from March 21 . The new date will be announced soon. On the admit card, all personal details and exam related details like exam date, exam time and exam venue will be mentioned. It is must for all the candidates to bring their BCECE 2017 Admit Card with them at the examination hall. If a candidate fails to bring the admit card with him/her, he/she will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
BCECE Application Form 2017
The online application form of BCECE 2017 was released by the admission committee. Registrations were available till March 6, 2017. No other mode of application was accepted by the admission committee. All applicants were required to register to be eligible for the entrance examination. The payment of the application fee could be done till March 9, 2017 in both online and offline mode. The applicants can follow the given steps to fill the application form of BCECE 2017.

Step 1: To appear in BCECE 2017, candidates must register themselves through the official website of BCECE Board. Registration must be done by selecting the course and providing the name of the candidate, date of birth, residence, eligibility of residence, reservation category, mobile number, email ID, create password, confirm password, select security question, security answer and captcha text. Confirm and submit.
Step 2: The candidates will be provided their registration number and the applicants will have to log in again using that registration number and password.
Step 3: The candidates have to pay the registration fee for BCECE 2017. Payment of fee is a must for every candidate, as candidates can complete the online application form only after the deposition of fees. The payment can be done in both online and offline mode.
Step 4: It is must for every candidate to send the filled in BCECE 2017 Application Form to the office of BCECE with all the enclosures after completing the online application form in all respects.

Application fee for BCECE 2017 can be remitted in cash at any branch of Canara Bank through challan.
The fee can also be paid online through Payment Gateway using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
BCECE 2017 Result
It is expected that the result of stage 1 of BCECE 2017 will be declared in the first week of May, 2017 and the same for stage 2 of BCECE is expected to be declared in the first week of June, 2017. Through BCECE 2017 result, the test takers will get their category-wise roll numbers. The result of BCECE 2017 will be announced separately for both the stages. BCECE 2017 result will reflect the roll numbers of only those candidates who qualify the entrance exam. Qualifying candidates of BCECE 2017 stage I will be able to appear in stage II of BCECE 2017. Further, stage II qualifying candidates of BCECE 2017 will be eligible for participating in BCECE 2017 counselling. Along with the category-wise roll number, the examinees will also get the time and date for interview in their BCECE 2017 result.

BCECE 2017 Counselling
Ranks obtained by candidates in the entrance exam will be the basis of their eligibility for BCECE 2017 Counselling. It is must for all candidates to qualify both the stages of the entrance exam to appear in BCECE 2017 Counselling. Qualified candidates will also be required to register themselves and apply for the choice filling in order to participate in counselling and seat allotment procedure.
As per the dates scheduled on the basis of candidates’ ranks in BCECE, they have to report for the handwriting test. Candidates can also participate in the Provisional Allotment process and check their status for the same. All candidates must keep in mind that Provisional Allotment Status should not be considered as the final allocation status. Only the candidates, who will qualify the handwriting test, can download their allotment letter for BCECE 2017. After successful completion of BCECE 2017 Counselling, candidates must report to the allotted institutes for admission, fee deposition and document verification.
