CCMT Application Form 2017 was available from April 10 onwards for M.Tech admissions at the participating institutes namely NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The last date to fill the CCMT 2017 application was May 13, 2017 (11:59 pm). Candidates with valid GATE scores were eligible to apply provided they met the specified eligibility announced by SVNIT Surat which is organizing CCMT 2017. Candidates were required to register, fill the details and pay the application fee online or through SBI Echallan. Candidates were also required to fill the choices of course/ programmes and institutes after filling the application form of CCMT 2017. CCMT Application Form 2017: Pre-Allotment Steps
Candidates were strongly advised to read the instructions given below for registration process and choice filling/locking process before proceeding with the actual registration process.
Registration fee: Rs.1700/- for SC/ST/PwD and Rs.2200/- for OC/OB (non-refundable)
Paid via: SBI MOPS (i.e. net banking/credit card/debit card ) or e-challan at any branch of SBI
All eligible candidates had to register and fill their choices online during the specified period to be considered for seat allotment.
They had to carefully enter the correct and verifiable personal information during online registration of CCMT 2017.
Candidates must read carefully all terms & conditions before clicking on the “I agree” checkbox.
After registration and fee payment, the candidate was able to exercise their programme choices across all participating institutes. The candidate was allowed to take the assistance of the Help Centers for registration and choice filling.
During the choice filling period, the candidates were free to change, reorder, delete and add their choices of programmes/institutes as per their preference, till they lock their choices or till the last date of CCMT Choice Filling 2017.
Candidate had to ensure themselves that they are fully eligible and satisfy the special eligibility conditions for a particular programme before filling up that programme in the list of preferred choices.
All the candidates had to lock their final choices before the last date (May 15, 2017). They were not allowed to unlock their choices once these are locked.
If candidates fail to explicitly lock their choices before the last date, their last saved choices is automatically locked. Therefore, they were strongly advised to lock their choices themselves. Candidate, who had not filled even one choice, would lose the chance to get admission as the CCMT 2017 Application Form would not be processed further.
Candidates were required to take a printout of their CCMT application form 2017 and locked choices. This printout, which also mentions the terms and conditions agreed them has to be signed and submitted at the time of reporting.
Registered candidates, who had not filled any choice or failed to save them, will not be considered for CCMT 2017 seat allotment and admission.
If the information submitted by the candidate is found to be fraudulent, incorrect or untrue at any stage (even after provisional admission), the seat allotted (if any) will be cancelled without any further reference. Moreover, such candidate may no longer be considered eligible for admission and will also be liable for legal action.

Step 1- Registration: Candidates had to enter following details

Bank Details: Candidates were required to provide the following bank related details-

Step 3 - Uploading GATE Score Card: The candidates were required to upload their score card. The scanned copy had to be in any one of the following formats- .gif, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, with file size between 50KB and 200KB.
Step 4 - Submission of Application Form: The candidates had to generate their password. It should be 8 to 13 characters long including at least one upper case alphabet, one lower case alphabet, one numerical value, one special character (! @ # $ % ^ & * ‐). The password had to be confirmed. After answering the security question and entering the code, the applicants were required to click on “Submit” button that then led them to the Review page. Any information could be corrected at this stage. Candidates must click on the final submit button for submitting the final CCMT 2017 Application. The form cannot be edited after this. After submission, the system checks whether the applicant is eligible or not. Only eligible applicants were able to move forward to the payment and choice filling stage.
A unique permanent registration number was assigned to the candidates after submitting the details. They were required to validate their e-mail ID and pay the registration fees.
Step 5 - Payment of Registration Fees: In the next step, the candidates had to pay the registration fees. The payment has to be done only through SBI MOPS (i.e., Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card or e-Challan at any branch of SBI). The registration fee is non-refundable and not adjusted towards any other fee.
Step 6 - Online Filling and Locking of Choices: The candidates were required to select their preferred institutes and course. During the choice filling period, the candidates were allowed to change, reorder, delete and add their choices of programmes institutes as per their preference. The choices should be locked before the last date. The choices cannot be unlocked once it is locked. If the candidates fail to fill or save their choices before the last date then these candidates will not be considered for the seat allotment process. A print out of the registration and locked choices should be taken for future use.
