CEED qualifying cutoff 2024 is out. CEED 2024 qualifying cutoff for part A for general category is 50.26. IIT Bombay, has released the CEED 2024 part A cutoff. As per UCEED exam cutoff 2024, the mean and standard deviation for Part-A (CEED 2024) are 41.90 and 16.72, respectively. The CEED cutoff 2024 is updated on its official site, ceed.iitb.ac.in. The cutoff of CEED 2024 has been released in the form of a mean and a standard deviation. The mean and standard deviation is calculated based on the performance of all the candidates who appeared for CEED Part A. CEED result download link is available at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Factors Determining CEED Exam Cutoff 2024

Aspiring students are required to obtain the specified minimum percentage of CEED total marks as per their category to qualify for Part A. As per the CEED cutoff for IIT Bombay category, the CEED exam cutoff 2024 for Part A is calculated in the following aspect mentioned in the table.

As per the previous year trends, the qualifying marks for CEED 2024 are expected to be around 25 marks for OPEN category candidates, 23 marks for OBC/ EWS, and 13 marks for SC/ST/PWD category candidates. CEED Cutoff 2024

The IIT Bombay CEED cutoff 2024 is determined by certain parameters. The CEED 2024 cutoff mark for Part A is the minimum mark students need to secure to qualify for Part A. Note that CEED Part B cutoff 2024 will be evaluated only if the candidate has qualified for Part A.

Aspiring students are required to secure a minimum CEED cutoff to gain M.Des admission at IIT Bombay, Kanpur, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Delhi, Roorkee, IIITDM Jabalpur, and IISc Bangalore.

The CEED 2024 cutoff is the minimum score that candidates need to qualify for the next stage of the admission process. The cutoff varies depending on the programme, category, and institute of the candidates. The CEED exam has two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A is a computer-based test that evaluates the candidates’ design aptitude and analytical skills. Part B is a pen-and-paper test that assesses the candidates’ drawing, creativity, and communication skills. Only the candidates who score above the Part A cutoff are shortlisted for Part B evaluation. The final CEED score is calculated based on the marks obtained in Part B only.

CEED 2024 Shortlisting Criteria

IIT Bombay may make changes in the CEED shortlisting criteria for 2024. The formula to calculate the CEED cutoff may change from the previous year. The expected formula to determine CEED shortlisting criteria is as follows: µ + (σ 2) = δ, where µ and σ are the average marks and standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by all the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2024.

The µ and σ will be rounded off after the first decimal place. The candidates belonging to the reserved categories shall have to fulfil a relaxed cut-off mark, which will be:

  • 0.9? for OBC-NCL

  • 0.9? for EWS

  • 0.5? for SC/ST

  • 0.5? for PwD

The shortlisting criteria for CEED 2024 are not yet announced by IIT Bombay, the conducting authority of CEED. Mdes is an excellent degree for creative people, and your job and compensation will improve as a result. You can, in fact, apply for MDES.

You must succeed in the CEED, an annual design entry test. The majority of Indian schools, including NITs and IITs, accept CEED scores as proof of eligibility for MDes.

A select few universities, like IIT Kanpur and IISC Bangalore , also accept GATE scores. Engineering students have a second opportunity to apply for MDes without having to submit a CEED score.

BE, BTech, BDes, or BArch with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50 percent (pass grades for SC/ST) are required.

GATE / CEED score (70 percent weighting) with an online design aptitude test and an interview make up the IISc Bangalore selection process (30 percent weightage).
