The authority has released the GATE 2024 cutoff for EE on the official website.
To find the cutoff scores for a particular institute or university, you should visit the official website of that institute or university. They often release their specific GATE cutoffs for admission to various programs.
GATE Cut offs are divided into two categories: qualifying and admission. For various courses, each of the participating institutes sets its own minimum admission cutoff. Candidates whose GATE scores are higher than the cut-off for admission to their selected M.E./M.Tech programs are eligible.
There are some institutes that give admission to students with low GATE scores or ranks. There are 1074 colleges in India that accept GATE scores for admission in M. Tech. There are 827 private colleges and 247 government colleges.
A valid GATE score in a relevant discipline is the most seeking criterion required in PSU recruitment through GATE. Along with this, there are other factors that are considered to define the eligibility such as age limit, minimum pass percentage or CGPA in bachelor's degree and medical standards.

Hello Rajendra,
As you have scored 353 in Gate 2024, this signifies that you had done a great hard work for this entrance, and thus qualified GATE 24' successfully. But, getting into top NITs for pursuing your M.Tech in Computer Science with this score finds difficult for general candidates. Though, I would suggest you to wait till Round 4 of the counselling for NIT(Patna) for M.Tech in Data Science
Though, you can find your chances of getting a good college across India like IIITs, NSUT, etc for your master's degree in CS and other related branches like Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, by clicking on the link down below:

Hope this helps!
Hi,
With your BTech degree percentage of 84 and a GATE score of 301, along with your SC category, you have a chance to secure admission in MTech programs at some IITs, but it may not be assured in the top-ranking ones due to intense competition.
However, admissions also depend on various factors such as the number of seats available, the specific department and program you're applying to, and the preferences of the particular IIT you're interested in. Some IITs may consider your application favorably based on your category and GATE score.
Considering your GATE score of 301 and SC category, here are a few IITs and MTech courses where you might have a chance of admission:
IIT Delhi:
IIT Bombay:
IIT Madras:
IIT Kanpur:
It's advisable to check the respective IITs' official websites for detailed information on MTech admissions, including eligibility criteria, seat matrix, and admission procedure.
Consider using the GATE College Predictor tool provided below to get more specific information.

Regarding SSC JE (Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer) and SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) examinations:
SSC JE is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineers in various government departments, whereas SSC CGL is conducted for recruitment to Group B and C posts in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India.
For both examinations, eligibility criteria vary depending on the specific posts and departments. Generally, a bachelor's degree in engineering is required for SSC JE, while for SSC CGL, a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required.
As an SC candidate, you may have certain relaxations in terms of age limits and qualifying marks in these examinations.
For detailed information on eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, and application procedures, you should refer to the official websites of SSC (Staff Selection Commission).
Thank You
Hello Aspirant,

Hi,
Admission into National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in India depends on various factors other than just the GATE score, such as the specific discipline you are applying for, the category you belong to (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.), and the cutoff scores for each NIT and discipline.
A GATE score of 355 is a decent score, but whether it's sufficient for admission to a particular NIT will depend on the competition and cutoff scores for that year and discipline. Generally, higher scores are required for more popular and competitive disciplines.
To know if you have a chance of admission to any NITs, you should check the previous year's cutoff scores for the NITs and disciplines you're interested in. These cutoff scores are usually available on the official websites of the respective NITs or through GATE counseling authorities.
You can also consider using the GATE College Predictor tool provided below to explore your options and the likelihood of securing admission based on your score and other relevant factors.
