GATE 2025 does not have a centralized counselling process. The candidates will have to individually apply for admission at their preferred Indian Institute of Technology. While some IITs take direct admission based on GATE 2025 scores, some institutes will also conduct an additional entrance test or interview to review the candidate’s qualifications. GATE Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) is a common platform where the candidates will have to register for IIT admissions after applying individually.
