About GCET 2024
GCET 2024 – DTE Goa has released an official notification regarding admissions to Engineering B.E. Degree courses. The authority will offer admission to BE degree courses based on JEE Main score. The authority will release the GCET exam 2024 application form in online mode. The applicants who are preparing for the GCET will have to apply for the entrance exam by completing the Goa CET 2024 registration process followed by the application form. The GCET application form process includes registration, completing the form, uploading essential documents, and paying the application fee. The GCET 2024 application fee is Rs. 2,000 and can be filled in both offline and online modes. Moreover, the GCET 2024 exam will consist of multiple-choice questions. However, the candidates must become eligible for the GCET exam 2024. Those candidates who meet the GCET 2024 eligibility criteria will be able to submit the forms.
Thus, before starting the application process candidates must check the GCET 2024 eligibility criteria. The authorities will release the admit card of GCET 2024 soon on the official website. The candidates will have to download their Goa CET exam 2024 admit card using their login credentials. However, candidates must check the exam pattern of GCET 2024 to make a strategy and prepare well for the exam. As per the GCET 2024 Exam Pattern, the question paper will have MCQ-type questions. One mark will be given for each correct answer. Questions asked in GCET will be based on the higher secondary and secondary levels. Candidates must study the topics covered in their Class XI and XII for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as the questions asked in the GCET 2024 exam will be based on these topics- each paper will contain 75 questions. The exam will be conducted for 6 hours (each subject for 2 hours). Being an offline exam, the GCET 2024 exam is going to be a pen-and-paper-based test and will be for 2 hours. The exam will comprise three papers – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and.
The authorities will release the results of the GCET exam 2024 on the official website after the conclusion of the exam. The qualified candidates will be eligible for admission to engineering and pharmacy degree programs in the state. The GCET 2024 counselling was conducted by the concerned authorities in online mode. Candidates applying for B.E/BTech and BPharm courses have to fill out Form A, while for BArch, Form B has to be submitted before the final date. The allotment of seats in the participating institutes of GCET 2024 will be done based on the candidate’s merit, choice filling, and seat availability.
What is GCET?
Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Alto, Porvorim – Goa. The examination will be conducted for the candidates seeking admission in various professional degree courses like B.Tech. & Pharmacy. Qualified candidates of the examination will get admission to various courses govt. and Private institutions across Goa. The admissions to the B.Arch course will be done based on scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by the Council of Architecture, and the qualifying exam(Std. GCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
GCET B.E Eligibility Criteria
The exam authorities will release the eligibility criteria for GCET 2024 on the official website. The candidates must check the eligibility criteria of GCET 2024 before applying for their application forms. Candidates will have to adhere to the following parameters under GCET eligibility criteria 2024:
Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible to appear in GCET 2024 exam. Non-resident Indians holding Indian passports can also apply for seats reserved under the NRI category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) / Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders will also be considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
Age: There is no age limit specified for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy Courses.
Qualifying Exam: Candidates applying must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination of the Goa Board or equivalent exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, or any other examination. Candidates who have passed, or are appearing in HSSC,10+2, or equivalent exams before the start of the academic session will also be eligible to appear in GCET 2024.
Subject Combination & Minimum Marks: C andidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Goa Board or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with any one of the following subjects Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories need to have 40% for the same criteria.
Reserved Categories: Candidates claiming seats in the reserved category of SC/ST/OBC will have to submit their caste certificate in the prescribed proforma from the Competent Authority. In case of the required certificate has not been enclosed with the form, their application will be considered for the General Category only.
For Kashmiri Migrants: Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects - Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology and obtained minimum 45% marks in Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
GCET B.Arch Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of GCET 2024 will be prescribed by DTE, Goa. Candidates must check the GCET 2024 eligibility criteria for their application forms to be accepted. Candidates will have to follow the following parameters under GCET eligibility criteria 2024:

NATA: Candidates need to have a valid score in NATA entrance exam as conducted by COA.
Qualifying Exam: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate exam of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC). OR
Candidates must have done 10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/ appearing recognized by Central/State Govts with 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics. OR
Candidates must have completed International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory exam subject.

The application process for GCET 2024 will open on its official website. The GCET application form 2024 will be available on the official website of GCET- gcet.ac.in for B.E./B.Tech and B.Pharma in online mode. Candidates have to fill out the application form and submit the GCET application form 2024 before the last date. Click on the 'GCET 2024 application form' link.
Download the application form as a PDF file and take a printout of the same.
Fill it as per the instructions.
Append the photocopies of necessary documents.
Application fee of Rs.2000 has to be paid through Demand Draft. DD should be drawn in favor of "Director of Technical Education", payable at Porvorim.
The filled-in application form should be submitted to the admission office on or before the specified date.
How to fill GCET online application form 2024?
Visit the Goa CET 2024 official website, gcet.ac.in.
In the first step, register as a new user using an email ID and password.
Next, candidates have to click on the verification link sent to their email and log in to fill out the application form.
Fill in the details such as personal, academic, and contact details.
The candidate's photograph and signature also have to be scanned and uploaded in the application form.
Pay the application fee and select the preferred exam centre.
The admit card will be generated and sent to the registered email ID of the candidate after the application form is submitted.

GCET B.E Admit Card
The authorities will issue the admit card of GCET 2024 in online mode for registered candidates on the official website- gcet.ac.in. To download the GCET 2024 admit card, the applicants have to log in to the official website using their required valid credentials. The admit card has been sent to the registered email address. Candidates must note that no entry will be allowed without the admit card in the examination hall, thus don't forget to carry admit card to the exam centre. Candidates must note that exam center code should be correctly entered while the application form filling only because any request for a change in choice of papers and/or centre selected/ allotted will not be entertained after the issue of the GCET 2024 Admit Card. The Admission Committee will allot exam centres depending on the availability of accommodation at the centres.
GCET B.Pharma Admit Card
The authorities will release the admit card of GCET B.Pharma 2024 in online mode. GCET admit card is generated as soon as the candidates submit their application form at the designated centres of DTE, Goa. However, candidates will also be able to collect the admit card from DTE Goa with late fees. Candidates will be required to carry the GCET admit card 2024 to the exam centre allotted as entry without it will be restricted.
Fill the exam centre code should be correct while filling the application form filling only because any request for a change in choice of papers and/or centre selected/ allotted will not be entertained after the issue of the Admit Card. Mode of Counselling: Offline
GCET counselling 2024 schedule for admission rounds will be released online. Candidates will have to register in order to participate in the GCET 2024 counselling process. The seat allotment will be done according to candidates’ merit, specified choices, and availability of seats. Candidates who will be allotted seats during any round of counselling will have to report to the institution allotted within three working days and obtain acknowledgement, otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.

Now, see, GCET is Goa Common Entrance Test (Goa CET). GCET exam is a state level entrance which is conducted by DTE Goa for admissions to professional courses in Engineering.
For counselling, one have to fill up form-C. Generally, 3 rounds are taken place— 1st, 2nd & seat filling round. After 1st round, those who have not got their choices, appears in 2nd round counselling. The whole procedure is taken place online.
