HPCET Important Dates 2017 – The Important Dates of HPCET 2017 have been announced by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU). HPCET 2017 Important Dates include dates related to important dates of various events associated with the entrance exam like application form, admit card, exam, result, counselling, seat allotment, admission, etc. HPCET 2017 was held in offline mode on May 13, 2017 for admissions to B.Tech disciples in the participating institutes of the state level test. HPCET Participating Institutes 2017:
The following is the list of some of the participating institutes of HPCET 2017 which will offer admissions to the qualifying candidates of HPCET 2017 and JEE Main 2017 on the basis of their marks/score in these exams.

HPCET is a state level engineering entrance test conducted every year by Himachal Pradesh Technical University for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes. 50% of the seats in the engineering colleges/participating colleges of HPCET 2017 are filled through JEE Main 2017, while the remaining are filled through HPCET 2017. Preference is given to JEE Main 2017 qualified candidates on the basis of their merit/ranks for admissions first, thereafter for the rest 50% seats across the institutes are offered to HPCET 2017 qualifiers on the basis of their merit/ranks.
