IIIT Bangalore M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017 - To be considered for admission to M.Tech courses offered by IIIT Bangalore, the candidate must first meet the IIIT Bangalore M.Tech 2017 eligibility criteria as has been set by the admissions committee. Among the key eligibility requirements include academic requirements and GATE qualification. Admission to the two M.Tech courses at the institute will be based on GATE scores, and there will be no separate exam. Academic Qualification: Applicants seeking IIIT Bangalore M.Tech Admission 2017 must meet any of the following educational conditions:
Needs to secure 65% marks in their B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent examination
Be a first-class degree holder in a 3-year UG programme followed by MSc with a 1st class in any of the physical sciences, or an MCA degree with 1st class
Be a final-year candidate expecting to graduate by August 2017
GATE qualification: The applicant needs to have a valid GATE score as well.

IIIT Bangalore M.Tech 2017 Eligibility Criteria for International Students
International candidates applying to M.Tech courses at IIIT Bangalore have to meet a different set of eligibility from their Indian counterparts as given below:
Foreign nationals (FNs) and non-resident Indians (NRIs) with 4-year undergraduate engineering degree in computing–related branches (CS, EE, EC) can apply for admission at III Bangalore
The applicant must submit valid GRE and TOEFL scores. Candidates from Anglophone country (i.e. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, and the US) are exempt from TOEFL.
International candidates who are shortlisted for admission have to go appear in an online interview as well.
Only such candidates, including both national and international, who meet the above mentioned eligibility requirements will be considered for admission to M.Tech at IIIT Bangalore. The candidate is urged not to enter false information, as it will lead to cancellation of candidature.
For Indian candidates, a merit list will be prepared based on GATE scores and will be published online. Seats will be allotted after the counselling session, during which the admission committee will verify the information entered by the candidate in the application form of IIIT M.Tech Bangalore. Only after they are satisfied with the information the candidate has shared, will seats be confirmed.
