IIT Delhi M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017
It is mandatory for aspirants to pass B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc or equivalent with 75% marks or 8.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale.
Applicants must have secured a GATE 2017/2016 score equal to or more than 300.
Relaxation for SC/ST/PH relaxation can be from 60% to 55% (6.75 to 6.25) and GATE score requirement from 200 to 300.
Those, who have cleared AMIE or Grad. IETE qualifications, may also be considered for admissions on the basis of their performance in AMIE/Grad IETE. They are required to complete 24 valid undergraduate credits specified by the concerned DRC/CRC/PEC, and must have valid GATE scores.
Important: Candidates, who have completed B.Tech from IITs with a CGPA of 8.0 or above, need not appear for GATE.
IIT Delhi M.Tech Selection Procedure 2017
Candidates will be given admissions on the basis of their performance in GATE 2017/2016.They may further be required to appear for a written test and a personal interview, which is scheduled for second week of May to second week of June.
IIT Delhi M.Tech Application Procedure 2017
They Candidates must register first. They must submit a separate application form for each interdisciplinary M.Tech programme. They can avail four choices within the said department.
For logging in, they must enter their email-id as the username and a password (at least 6 characters).
All fields including name, father’s name and mother’s name must be filled without any special characters.
Unique application number must be noted after submitting the form. This will be required for online payment of application fees.
Final year students are required to select the result status as “Awaited” in education information page.
Application fee has to be paid online using “State Bank Collect” utility of State Bank of India.
Candidates are advised to print the application form and keep its copy safe with them.
