ISM EE Exam Pattern 2017 - Indian School of Mines IIT (ISM) will conduct the offline exam for M.Tech programmes on May 13, 2017 at different centres across the country. For every incorrect answer, candidate will lose 25% of the marks allocated
Salient points of the ISM EE Exam Pattern 2017
Candidates will score the allotted marks for every correct answer
If candidates do not select any answer in the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet, then no marks will be deducted
Candidates have to darken the correct answer out of the four options that are given on the OMR sheet by darkening it with a blue or black ball point pen.
It is upto the IIT- (ISM) authority to determine the qualifying marks for each paper
Depending on the marks scored by the candidates, the merit list will be prepared for different categories of candidate
No request for re-totalling of the marks or scrutiny will be entertained.
Candidates who are shortlisted will have to attend the counselling else they will forfeit the seat.

Features of ISM EE Entrance Exam
Five departments of ISM i.e Applied Geophysics, Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery Engineering, Fuel and Mineral Engineering admit candidates through the entrance exam
Candidates will be provided admission only in that M.Tech programme in which the candidate has appeared in the entrance exam of ISM EE 2017.
Candidates who are applying for both the M.Tech programmes i.e “Mining Engineering” and “Opencast Mining” are required to prepare for one exam which is “Mining Engineering”
