JEE Advanced AATJEE Advanced AAT 2017 - The result of JEE Advanced AAT 2017 has been announced on June 18 in online mode. Candidates can check their result by entering their JEE Advanced 2017 registration number and date of birth. Registration for JEE Advanced AAT 2017 had started from June 11, 2017 and was closed on June 12 (5 pm). This means that candidates had only 2 days in hand to register for JEE Advanced AAT 2017. Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2017 for B.Arch admissions at the participating institutes was conducted on June 14 from 9 am to 12 pm. JEE Advanced AAT 2017 is a separate exam conducted at the 7 zonal coordinating Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admissions into B.Arch programmes at IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur. Candidates aspiring for admissions to B.Arch programmes at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee must appear for Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) separately. However, the aspirants are also required to have qualified in JEE Advanced 2017. For appearing in AAT 2017, the JEE Advanced 2017 qualified candidates have to register themselves on JEE Advanced portal for appearing in AAT 2017. Amongst all IITs, only IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee offer B.Arch programme for aspiring candidates through AAT.

JEE Advanced AAT Registration 2017

 

Registration portal for JEE Advanced AAT 2017 had begun in online mode from June 11. The last date for registering for AAT was June 12 (till 5 pm). If candidates miss the deadline, they would not be able to register. It must be noted that only those candidates were considered eligible for applying for JEE Advanced AAT 2017 who have qualified JEE Advanced 2017. Without qualifying JEE Advanced 2017, noone is allowed to register for AAT.   

 

How to register for JEE Advanced 2017?

  • Click on "Yes" or "NO" for Would you like to do AAT registration?

  • Enter JEE Advanced 2017 Registration Number and date of birth 

  • Select Yes or No from the option "Are you Interested in AAT 2017

  • Select exam centres from the scroll down list of 7 IITs 

  • Now click on Registration for AAT 2017

JEE Advanced AAT Eligibility Criteria 2017

 

The eligibility criteria of JEE Advanced AAT 2017 include eligibility requirements related to educational background, age and qualifying exam. Based on meeting JEE Advanced AAT eligibility criteria 2017, the candidates are considered eligible to sit for AAT 2017 for admissions to B.Arch programme at IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur.

 

In order to be considered eligible for AAT 2017, the aspiring candidates are required to have qualified JEE Advanced 2017.

 

For admission, they have to pass/qualify in AAT 2017.

Freehand drawing:

 

Freehand drawing consists of simple drawing depicting the total object in its right form and proportion, surface texture, relative location and details of its component parts in appropriate scale. Common domestic or day-to-day life usable objects like furniture, equipment, etc., from memory.

 

Geometrical Drawing:

 

Exercises in geometrical drawing containing lines, triangles, angles, quadrilaterals, circles, polygons, etc. Study of plan (top view), elevation (front or side views) of simple solid objects like cones, prisms, cylinders, splayed surface holders, cubes, etc.

 

Three-dimensional perception:

 

Appreciation and understanding of 3-dimensional forms with building elements, colour, volume and orientation. Visualization through structuring objects in memory.

 

Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity:

 

Composition exercise with given elements. Context mapping. Creativity check through innovative uncommon test with familiar objects. Sense of colour grouping or application.

 

Architectural awareness:

 

General interest and awareness of famous architectural creations – both national and international, places and personalities (architects, designers, etc.) in the related domain.


JEE Advanced AAT Admit Card 2017

 

There is no separate admit card generated for JEE Advanced AAT 2017. The admit card of JEE Advanced 2017 is the admit card which is used for AAT 2017 also. This means that candidates desirous of seeking admissions into B.Arch programme at IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur, must keep the admit card of JEE Advanced 2017 to be used in AAT 2017.


JEE Advanced AAT Result 2017

 

JEE Advanced 2017 AAT Result was announced on June 18. The result of JEE Advanced 2017 AAT was declared on JEE Advanced portal in online mode. Only those candidates are able to check their JEE Advanced AAT 2017 result who have successfully registered for AAT 2017 and have appeared in AAT 2017. Test takers who secure equal or above the cut off marks of JEE Advanced AAT 2017 are considered pass in AAT 2017. Only pass or qualifying candidates are eligible for admissions to B.Arch programme at IIT Roorkee and IIT Kharagpur.


JEE Advanced AAT Cut off 2017

 

JEE Advanced AAT Cut off 2017 is the minimum marks required by the candidates in order to be considered for admissions. The cut off marks of JEE Advanced AAT 2017 are decided by the Joint Implementation Committee of JEE Advanced. Only those candidates will be considered for admissions into B.Arch programme who will score equal to or above the cut off marks of JEE Advanced AAT 2017.


JEE Advanced AAT Seat Allotment 2017

 

JEE Advanced 2017 AAT Seat Allotment will be done on the basis of category-wise All India Rank in JEE Advanced 2017. JoSAA 2017 will be responsible for the seat allotment of JEE Advanced AAT 2017 candidates. All of the candidates can register for JoSAA 2017 from June 19 till June 26, 2017. The first list of allotted candidates will be announced on June 28, 2017.
