Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2023 - Seat Matrix (Out), Allotment, Option Entry, Dates, Registration, Procedure

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2023 - KEA has published the seat matrix for the final round of Karnataka PGCET 2023 counselling at the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The authority will release the Karnataka PGCET 2023 final seat allotment result on February 23 for the remaining vacant seats. Applicants who qualify for the Karnataka PGCET are eligible for the counselling process. Candidates who were allotted seats in first or second round will not be eligible to participate in this round. Eligible candidates are required to make the choices again. Any previous choices of the Karnataka PGCET counselling will not be considered in the final round. Moreover, candidates were able to surrender their seats before 11 AM on February 22. Such applicants are eligible for a refund of the counselling fee after a dedication of Rs 5000.

Karnataka Examination Authority released the seat allotment results for round 2 on February 14 while the first round of seat allotment results were out on January 25. The authorities also released the mock allotment results for round 1 on January 21, 2024. The Karnataka PGCET counselling 2023 dates are updated on this page. Candidates whose name is mentioned in the merit list are eligible for the counselling of KEA PGCET 2023. The merit list will be based on GATE 2024 results/ Karnataka PGCET results. Candidates can apply for admission either through either of the two modes however, exam authorities will give 1st preference to the GATE-qualified applicants. Candidates applying through GATE have to register for PGCET 2023, however, they need not appear for the entrance test. Karnataka PGCET 2023 Counselling - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who meet the Karnataka PGCET counselling eligibility criteria 2023 will be considered for the counselling process:
Students should have passed the qualifying degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category),
Candidates with valid GATE 2023 scores will be eligible to apply. Also, such candidates must have filled out and registered for Karnataka PGCET 2023,
Names of the candidates should appear in PGCET 2023 merit list (GATE and PGCET merit lists will be prepared separately. Preference will be given to GATE 2023 qualified candidates),
Candidates seeking admission in M Tech/ME (Part-Time) should have work experience of not less than 3 years.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2023 - Important Tips
Candidates who will be applying for admission through the Karnataka PGCET 2023 counselling process must keep the following points in mind:
- Candidates will have to visit the Karnataka PGCET counselling 2023 help centres as per their rank and schedule only.
- Students will have to carry all the requisite documents, both original and Xerox copies for verification to the help centres.
- They are advised to fill in choices in order of their preference. The seat allotment of Karnataka PGCET 2023 will be done only as per the choices filled based on the rank and category of students. Also, They should check and lock their choices before the last date.
- Candidates who will be allotted a seat in any round should download the provisional seat allotment letter and visit the allotted institute within the specified time.
- Students who do not visit the allotted institute within the date mentioned in the provisional Karnataka PGCET seat allotment letter 2023 will themselves be liable for the cancellation of their seats.
- Students who will be allotted a seat in the 1st round but wish to participate in the second round of counselling of Karnataka PGCET 2023 will have to first confirm the seat by the payment of the seat acceptance fees at the help centre.
- For claiming reservations under any category, they should submit proper certificates duly attested by prior authorization.
- The income certificate for claiming fee waiver must be recent and obtained from a competent authority on or after 01.01.2023.
- Applicants who will be applying for admission through GATE 2023 score, non-Karnataka candidates, and PwD candidates will have to visit the Bangalore help centre for the verification of documents.
- Candidates who will be applying for admission through GATE score 2023 will be required to apply online for the Karnataka PGCET 2023, however, they need not appear in the entrance test.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling Procedure 2023
Candidates will have to follow the procedure below while appearing for Karnataka PGCET 2023 counselling:
Karnataka PGCET 2023 Registration:
Students who will be applying for admission will have to visit the help centre for registration as per their ranks and schedule. The exam authorities will set up help centres across the state for all the processes regarding registration and counselling. Registration will be done using PGECET 2023 application number where candidates will have to submit all the details as requested. During the process of registration, candidates will be briefed on further counselling procedures by the officials conducting counselling of KEA PGCET 2023.
Document Verification:
Document verification is being done at the designated centre after the successful registration of Karnataka PGCET 2023 is done. Candidates will have to carry all the documents, both original and xerox copies to help centres. Also, candidates will be issued a document verification acknowledgment card and verification slip which they will have to retain till the entire admission process is over. Below is the list of document verification for PGCET 2023.

- GATE 2023 scorecard (if applying through GATE)

Assigning secret key for choice filling
Candidates who will be eligible for Karnataka PGCET 2023 seat allotment after document verification will be allotted a high-security key. All candidates will have used this high-security key to log in for choice filling.
They need to change their password right after logging in through the security key. Students are advised to carefully register their choices as per their order of preference and lock them before the last date, failing which the choices will be locked automatically.
Note: Candidates can enter any number of choices available to them and can also modify the list till final submission.
Mock Karnataka PGCET 2023 Seat Allotment: Mock Round
The mock seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET counselling is held to familiarize the students with the seat allotment procedure and give them an idea about their seat allotment. Candidates must note that the mock seat allotment is not considered for allotting seats.
Karnataka PGCET seat allotment 2023 result: First round
Karnataka Examination Authority allotted the seats on the basis of merit prepared from the candidate’s score in the PGCET/GATE exam, category, and choice filled by them. Seats were allocated in priority to GATE-qualified candidates on an India basis without any reservation.
After the seat allotment of GATE-qualified candidates, the remaining seats are offered to PGCET/GATE candidates based on the reservation criteria for the Karnataka region in the order of merit. Candidates allotted a seat had an option of withdrawing from counselling after acceptance of the seat and move to the second round after accepting the seat or withdrawing from the counselling without accepting the seat.
Candidates were able to download the allotment letter and visit the allotted institute within the specified date & time to confirm their admission/seat. Candidates who wanted to appear in round 2 of counselling had the option of modifying their choice within a specified date and time.
Karnataka PGCET counselling 2023 and seat allotment: Second round
Candidates who did not get any seats in the first round were able to appear for the second round of counselling. All the procedures and criteria remained the same for the second round of Karnataka PGCET counselling 2023.
Reporting to allotted institute:
Candidates who will be allotted a seat after the 1st, 2nd or special round (if any) will have to go to the allotted institute in person directly within the specified date & time. They will be issued a seat allotment letter which candidates will be able to download by logging into the Karnataka PGCET 2023 Counselling portal.

1. The candidates should have a bachelor's degree with minimum 50% score in any discipline from a recognized university, in accordance with the eligibility criteria for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2022.
2. Students who are in the final year of their degree can also apply for the exam provided that all necessary appropriate documentation is submitted at the time of admission.
3. The minimum marks to be obtained should be at least 50%Â (for general category) and 45% (for SC / ST category).
4. Candidates must be a citizen of India.
5. There's n o age limit for candidates wishing to apply for Karnataka PGCET MBA 2022 .

You have not specified the State for whose PGCET 2022 applications date  you want to know about.
- Last date to apply for AP PGCET is 20th July, whereas, it is extended from 21st - 25th with a late fee of Rs.500.
Also, from 26th - 29th July with a late fee of Rs. 1000.
- Applications for Karnataka PGCET 2022 will start from September.
- Telangana PGCET 2022:
