KIITEE Counselling 2017- The date for the extended KIITEE 2017 counselling is May 23 as per the latest notification by KIIT University. Candidates will be invited for the counselling of KIITEE 2017 on the basis of the number of seats available, ranks obtained by them. The course-specific cutoff ranks were published and soon after candidates were invited for KIITEE 2017 counselling, from May 10, 2017. The last date for KIITEE 2017 counselling for round 1 was May 13. Only those candidates who scored above the cutoff rank were invited to participate in the KITTEE 2017 counselling. The process of KIITEE Counselling 2017 involves candidates filling the choice of course of their preference, document verification, seat allotment and payment of fees in that order. It is mandatory for all candidates to attend the counselling for KIITEE 2017 in person. For the document verification which is a part of the counselling process of KIITEE exam, candidates had to furnish the original documents that are proof of their academic qualification, age, category and such. KIITEE 2017 Counselling Procedure
Candidates must report half an hour before the time of counselling.
Candidates must register once they arrive to participate in the counselling of KIITEE
Candidates will be required to get their documents verified.
Candidates awaiting their final result must give an undertaking that they will furmish the result by May 30, 2017
after seat allotment is announced, candidates must complete the admission formalities
KIITEE Counselling 2017- Key Points
Candidates must download result of KIITEE 2017. The result of KIITEE 2017 was announced on April 27, 2017.
Based on seats available, course-specific cutoff ranks are determined for counselling
The counselling for KIITEE 2017 for round 1 commenced from May 10, 2017.
Only those candidates who are ranked higher than the declared cutoff could participate in the counselling.
Candidates ranked higher in the merit list were called first for counselling.
In case of a tie, the candidate with higher marks in Mathematics, followed by marks in physics will be given preference. If the tie is still unbroken, preference will be given to older candidates.
Counselling and seat allocation will be based purely on the performance of the candidate in KIITEE 2017
Counselling will go on until there are unfilled seats and will be stopped once they are filled.

Note: In case a candidate is awaiting result of qualifying examination, he/she will be allowed to participate in counselling on submission of an undertaking to submit the result by May 30, 2017.
Certificates required for reserved category candidates:
SC/SC(W)/ST/ST(W) candidates need to submit relevant caste certificates issued by a competent authority,
clearly indicating the Reservation Criteria claimed by the candidate.
PC/PC(W) category candidates must obtain Physically Challenged certificate from an authorised Medical Board.
Candidates have to first pay Rs 75,000 in form of a DD in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar
This is inclusive of Rs 10,000 (non-refundable) as counselling registration fee
The last date to deposit balance fee is June 10, 2017.
Parents can attend counselling of KIITEE 2017 on behalf of the candidate:
The father or mother of the candidate can attend KIITEE 2017 counselling, but they need to being along the following documents:
The authorisation letter of the candidate
Identitity proof along with photograph
Certificate bearing the name of the parent attending counselling of KIITEE 2017. Any of Birth Certificate and 10th pass certificate would be accepted.
KIITEE Counselling 2017: Reservation of seats
A separate cutoff rank and merit list will be published for each of the reserved categories, and seats will be allotted accordingly. Candidates from unreserved categories will not be counselled for seats under reserved categories.
