Earlier, candidates could fill the MHT CET application form with late fees till March 30, 2017. Also, the "Edit/ Update" facility in the MHT CET 2017 Application Form was available till March 30, 2017. The final date to fill and submit the MHT CET application form without late fees was March 23, 2017. Before filling the CET application form, the aspiring candidates have to keep the scanned images of their photograph and signature in the specified dimensions ready. Things to Keep Ready Before Filling MHT CET Application Form 2017
Since all information submitted in the application form should be valid, the applicants will have to make sure that their documents are kept ready for reference while filling the online application form of MHT CET 2017. How to fill MHT CET Application Form 2017?
Candidates have to click on the link here to register. For registration, the applicants will have to fill all of their required details.
While registering, the candidates need to create their own password. They are strictly advised to keep this password safe with them for all future communications and references.
After completing that, the applicants will need to upload their photograph and signature in not more than 50 KB in size.
The payment of the application fees has to be done in online mode.
The generated confirmation page will have to be printed.

Stage 1 – Registration and Form Filling

Create Password: The applicants will have to create a password for all future logins. The password should be minimum of 8 and maximum of 15 characters and must contain at least one upper case, one lower-case and one numeric.
Declaration: The applicants will have to read over the declaration and click on "I Agree". The security key has to be entered properly after which the applicants can click "Next" to proceed further.
Stage 2 – Uploading scanned photograph and signature
Upload scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned above in the table.

The photograph should have a clearly identifiable frontal face with a white or light background. Applications with blur photograph of the candidates are liable to get rejected.
After uploading the images, the candidates will be given a registration ID.

Stage 3 - Fee payment
To complete the online CET 2017 application form, the applicants need to pay the MHT CET 2017 application/examination fee.

Payment of the application fees can be done only in online mode i.e., Credit Card/Debit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets for which service charges will be applicable as per the rules. No other mode of payment will be accepted.

Stage 4 – Completing MHT CET 2017 Application process
Once the candidates have paid the application fee, they will be redirected to the website.
- The application number will be generated after the successful submission of the application form.
Click on “Generate MHT CET 2017 Registration Confirmation Page” and take a print-out or download the confirmation page.
A print-out of the Payment Acknowledgement should also be taken out.

Important Points of MHT CET Application Form 2017
Incomplete application forms will be rejected
The email ID and mobile number submitted must be valid as all communication will be sent through it.
No changes in Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email ID will be permitted once the application form is confirmed and submitted.

Ans: Correction of these errors will be allowed. The applicants will have to send a letter to the competent authority, MHT-CET, Mumbai. This letter should be submitted before the announcement of results and should be accompanied by SSC mark sheet.
Q2. When does the Online Registration for MHT-CET 2017 start?
Ans: The online registrations of MHT-CET 2017 has started on February 14, 2017 and will be available till March 30, 2017.
Q3. Do I have to report to any CET office for online registration?
Ans: No. The applicants will be able to register themselves online from anywhere.
Q4. Do I require any documents to get registered online?

Ans: If the School / Jr. College is situated anywhere between Colaba and Mahim or Colaba and Sion, then the applicants will have to select Mumbai(11) and if it is beyond Sion and Mahim, the Mumbai Suburban(12) has to be selected.
Q6. Am I allowed to edit/make changes to the data filled online?
Ans: The applicants will be given a chance to verify their details after they provide it during registration. If any changes are to be done, the applicants will simply have to click “Back” and select “Edit”. No changes in the applicant’s name, father/husband’s name, date of birth, email ID and mobile number will be possible. Even after submission, the applicants will be able to edit their information by using “Edit Profile”. The applicants will have to log in using their unique application number and password.
Q7. How do I get login credential (i.e. application no. and password) for logging in?
Ans: During the online registration, the applicants will have to generate their own password. After submission of registration form, the system will generate the Application No. The applicants are advised to keep the application no. and password confidential till the end of the process. Sharing of the password can result in its misuse by somebody else, leading to even exclusion of genuine applicant from the online process.
Q8. If I forget my password that I have created during the process of registration, how to retrieve it?
Ans: The applicants will be able to retrieve the forgotten password by following the given process:

The applicants will have to enter details like MHT-CET Application No., Date of Birth and Mother's First Name as filled at the time of registration.
The above data submitted by the candidate will be validated with registered applicant's database. The system will allow the applicants to create a new password if the above entry matches with the submitted one.
Q9. I am not able to upload my photograph and signature.
Ans: To successfully upload the documents, the file specifications should be followed. The file size of the photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB and the signature file should be between 5 KB to 50 KB.
Q10. I am an NRI Candidate aspiring for Engineering Admission. Should I appear for MHT-CET?
Ans: Only Indian nationals are eligible for MHT CET 2017.
Q11. I am an ST Category candidate of Madhya Pradesh. Shall I get the benefit of ST Category?
Ans: No. The reservation shall be given only to the backward class applicants of Maharashtra state.
Q12. I am an OBC Category candidate of Maharashtra State and have the caste certificate however due to higher income of my parents, I shall not get the Non Creamy layer (NCL) certificate. Shall I get the benefit of OBC Category?
Ans: The OBC applicants of Maharashtra State should produce the NCL valid up to 31st March 2018 during Document Verification stage of CAP, otherwise they shall be treated as General Category candidates for Admission.
