MHT CET CounsellingMHT CET Counselling 2017 - The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra will be conducting the MHT CET 2017 counselling tentatively from July 2017. Selected applicants will be chosen for the counselling session which will be conducted through a Centralized Counselling Process (CAP). The applicants will have to register themselves in online mode for the counselling session. Only those shortlisted applicants who have registered themselves will be allotted seats as per their ranking in the merit list. Document verification, allocation of seats and payment of tuition fees are also a part of MHT CET Counselling. The applicants who have secured the required marks and meet the eligibility will be listed in the merit list and will be allowed to register themselves for the MHT CET 2017 counselling. The applicants will have to be successfully registered to participate in the seat allotment process of MHT CET 2017. Allotment of seats will be done strictly based on the merit of the applicant and his/her secured scores in the entrance examination. MHT CET 2017 examination will be held on May 11, 2017.

 

Steps for MHT CET 2017 Counselling Registration

The online registrations of MHT CET Counselling 2017 will be open tentatively in the month of July 2017. The applicants will have to fill the required details and register themselves for the MHT CET counselling and allotment session.

 

Step 1: Registration

The applicants will have to register themselves in online mode. Click on “New Registration” after which the applicants will have to select their nationality.

 

Step 2: Fill the Registration Form

Personal, communication and security details of the applicant have to be submitted. A password has to be selected by the applicant.

 

Personal Details:

  • Name of the applicant.

  • Father’s Name

  • Mother’s Name

  • Gender of the applicant

  • Religion

  • Region of the applicant

  • Mother Tongue

  • Annual Income of the Family

Communication Details:

  • Complete address

  • Mobile Number

  • Email ID

Choose Security Question Details

  • Select Security Question

  • Answer the Security Question

Choose Password

The password has to be created by the applicants using the Password Policy

  • Password must be 8 to 13 character long.

  • Password must have at least one upper case alphabet.

  • Password must have at least one lower case alphabet.

  • Password must have at least one numeric value.

  • Password must have at least one special character e.g., !@#$%^&*-

Step 3 – Candidature Type Details

 

The applicant will have to select their category as per his/her domicile. Selection has to be done as per the eligibility of the applicant from the given categories:

 

Maharashtra – Type A: Applicants passing S.S.C. (Std. X) and H.S.C. (Std. XII) / Diploma / B.Sc from Maharashtra State and Candidate is Domiciled / Born in the State of Maharashtra.

 

Maharashtra - Type B: If the applicantdoes not satisfy as Type A but the applicant / father or mother of the applicant is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra.

 

Maharashtra – Type C: Doesnot satisfy both Type A and Type B but the father or mother of the applicant is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking who has posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submitting the Application Form for CAP.

 

Maharashtra – Type D: Does not satisfy as Type A and Type B and Type C but Father or Mother of the applicant is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Maharashtra Government Undertaking.

 

Maharashtra – Type E:  Applicants qualifying S.S.C (Std. X) and/or H.S.C (Std. XII) / Diploma / B.Sc from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother Tongue is Marathi.

 

OMS: Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) applicant having Indian nationality.

 

J&K Migrant Applicant: Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Applicant: J-1 Type / J-2 Type / J-3 Type

 

Foreign Students: Foreign National / Foreign Students

 

NRI: Non-Resident Indian (NRI) applicant. 

 

PIO / OCI: Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)

 

CIWGC: Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries

 

GoI: Government of India (GoI) Nominee applicant

 

Step 4 – Qualification Details

Next, the applicants will have to enter their subject wise and overall marks obtained in 10th and 12th standard. The name of the board obtained by the applicants should also be entered by the applicants.

 

Step 5 – Examination Details

The details regarding the applicant’s examination details of MHT CET 2017 also has to submitted to be registered for the counselling session.

 

Step 6 – Uploading of Scanned Images

The applicants will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications given below for successful registration.

Step 7 – Payment of Counselling Fees

Payment of the required counselling fees as per the category of the applicant will have to be paid in online mode. The details of the fees is listed below:

Document Verification under MHT CET Counselling 2017

The applicants who have successfully registered themselves will have to visit the Facilitation Centres (FC) in person for the verification of documents. The following documents will have to be brought for verification:

  • 10th Standard Pass Certificate & Mark Sheet

  • 12th Standard Pass Certificate & Mark Sheet

  • MHT CET Result 2017

  • Character Certificate

  • Migration Certificate

  • Category Certificate (if applicable)

  • School Leaving Certificate

  • Domicile Certificate of Maharashtra (if applicable)

  • MHT CET Admit Card 2017

Allotment of Seats

The applicants will be allotted seats in online mode. According to the ranking of the applicants in the merit list, the seats will be allotted as per the preference and availability of seats. The list of the allotted applicants will be released online. Those applicants who have been allotted seats will have to report at their institute for confirmation of seats. Payment of the tuition fees have to be done by the applicant to confirm the admission.
