MET Counselling 2025 for BTech - MAHE announced the MET 2025 round 4 seat allotment result on August 2, 2025. The authority activated the MET seat allotment 2025 link on the website, manipal.azurewebsites.net. To download the seat allotment, candidates need their application number and password. The MET 2025 phase 4 counselling registration was conducted from July 31 to August 1, 2025. The university conducted the Manipal Entrance Test for admission to several undergraduate engineering programmes. The candidate should have cleared the exam and must have a MET 2025 rank.
Candidate must have passed in 10+2 / ‘A’ Level / International Baccalaureate (IB) / American High School Diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
It is mandatory to have minimum aggregate marks of 50 % in Physics, Mathematics and in any one of the optional subjects taken together. In each of these three subjects, candidates should have scored at least minimum pass marks prescribed by the board.
MET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025
MAHE is conducting the MET counselling 2025 for BTech in online mode. Eligible and shortlisted candidates first have to register for the MET 2025 counselling, complete choice filling, and upload the required documents. The authorities release the Manipal seat allotment 2025 for each round of MET counselling. Candidates can refer to the step-by-step detailed process of MET counselling and seat allotment below.
MET 2025 Counselling and Seat Allotment
The following steps will be included in the counselling of MET 2025 and seat allotment-
Step 1: Registration- Candidates will have to first register for the MET counselling 2025 on the official website. Candidates will be required to enter all the required details for registration.
Step 2: Online Choice Filling/ Modification- Candidates will have to log in to the candidate portal using the application number, OTBS Password, and captcha code and select their preferred choices of campus and courses. Candidates can modify their choices of college and branch as per their preference.
Step 3: Documents Upload- Students have to upload the following documents in online mode for participate in the MET counselling and seat allotment 2025.
Transfer Certificate.
Aadhaar Card (Candidate’s Original).
PAN Card of the parents (Original).
Class 10 Mark Sheet (For Date of Birth Proof).
Class 12 Mark Sheet.
Conduct Certificate.
Candidate’s 2 Recent Passport Size Photograph.
Authorization Letter (in case a representative is attending on behalf of a candidate).
JEE Mains 2025 scorecard / SAT score / any state CET marks.

Try NowStep 4: Seat Allotment- The authorities allot seats based on their rank on the merit list. To check the status of their seat allotment of MET 2025, applicants have to use the candidate portal. Students who have been allotted a seat but want to upgrade will have to report to the allotted institute and select the option of participating in the next round. Those who will not be allotted any seat in previous rounds will automatically be considered for the next round of seat allotment.
Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted Institute- Students have to visit the allotted institute to complete the admission process. It is mandatory to carry the provisional MET seat allotment letter 2025 along with the necessary documents to the institute at the time of admission.

MET Counselling Intra-Institute Sliding
Candidates who have been allocated a seat in any institute can participate in the intra-institute sliding. Intra-institute sliding is the modification of allotted branches within the institute. Students have to do a fresh registration in the institute for the branch sliding. Students must note that Intra-Institute sliding is the only modification in the branch allotted to candidates in any institute and not any fresh allotment.
MET 2025 Spot Round Counselling
Manipal Academy of Higher Education will conduct the spot round counselling of the Manipal Entrance Test for the seats which remain vacant after normal counselling rounds. Students who want to participate in the spot round counselling will have to register in online mode and report to the MET counselling 2025 venue as per the schedule. MET 2025 Counselling Fees
While doing Manipal counselling registration for BTech, candidates will also be required to pay a fee of Rs 10,000 as waitlist deposit which is to be paid online during the MET counselling 2025 registration process. Once MET counselling fees are paid, candidates are eligible to do Manipal choice filling to participate in the online Manipal counselling 2025. On MET BTech counselling allotment results in any round, the 1st instalment fee has to be paid by the candidate within the timeline specified, to confirm the seat allotment. On fee payment, the MET counselling fees paid at the time of registration will be converted into a refundable caution deposit, which is part of the Course fee. In case the candidate is not allotted any seat in any rounds of counselling, the waitlist deposit will be refunded within 1 month of completion of all rounds of the institute’s counselling process.

It is not a mistake that CSE, ECE, and EEE branches are not showing in mock counselling of TG EAPCET 2025 under self finance category in JNTU Hyderabad, because mock counselling is only for practice and not full list is given, colleges sometimes show only few branches to help students understand the process, so you do not need to worry, in the real counselling round, full options like CSE, ECE, and EEE will come according to your rank and college seat availability, mock counselling is just to try and learn how to select options and understand allotment steps, it does not mean that branches are removed, when first round starts officially, all proper courses will be shown, so you must wait and check again during actual counselling and then fill the choices carefully, do not panic by seeing only MMS and MET in mock list, the full branches will come at the correct time, just follow the schedule and updates from official website and be ready with your list of choices.
