Nirma University M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024
There are certain conditions and requirements that the candidates must meet to be considered for the admission process. The authorities have released the eligibility criteria of Nirma University M.Tech admission 2024 on the official website. Only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be allotted seats during the counselling process.
Nirma University M.Tech Admission 2024 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have completed their undergraduate degree (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma) or equivalent degree from a recognized University
The minimum required marks as prescribed by AICTE or equivalent CGPA has to be secured by the candidates.
Those candidates who will pass their final semester in 2024 will also be eligible. In such a case, the result has to be submitted within 30 days of commencement of semester or earlier to the Member Secretary, PG-ENGG.
If the candidates possess a CPI, then they will also have to present a certificate of equivalent percentage of marks issued by the concerned authorities of the University.
Candidates who have passed their undergraduate degree from Nirma University will be able to obtain their eligibility certificate during the counselling process after paying Rs. 500.

Syllabus for written test for Non-GATE applicants will be the same as GATE 2024 Exam syllabus of the concerned M.Tech. programme. There will be 60 objective type questions of 60 marks and the duration will be 1 hour.
Nirma University M.Tech Merit List 2024
Registered eligible candidates will be listed out in the merit list of Nirma University M.Tech admission 2024. The authorities will release a separate merit list for GATE and Non-GATE qualified candidates. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE or qualifying examination scores. After GATE qualified candidates are allotted, the non-GATE candidates will be called for the counselling. Details regarding the counselling venue, date, candidate’s name, programme, application form number and more will be available on the merit list.
Inter-se Merit of Nirma University M.Tech Admission 2024
There may be some cases when two or more candidates have secured the same GATE scores. In such cases, the tie will be broken by following the guidelines in the order given below:
The percentage secured in the qualifying examination.
If the tie is not broken, then the percentage secured in the eighth semester of the qualifying exam will be taken into consideration. If the eighth semester result is not announced, then the seventh semester results will be used by the authorities.
Finally, if the tie still exists, the candidate who is older in age will be given higher preference.

Nirma University M.Tech Counselling 2024
Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will have to participate in the counselling of Nirma University M.Tech admission 2024. The counselling process will be held in offline mode and the candidates will have to be physically present at the venue. Candidates must carry the required documents at the counselling venue for the verification purposes.
