NSIT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2017


Candidates are required to meet the NSIT M.Tech 2017 eligibility criteria before they fill the online application form. According to the NSIT M. Tech eligibility Criteria 2017, seats will be reserved for those candidates who belong to the Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe or the physically challenged category. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age before October 01, 2017.

NSIT M. Tech Application Form 2017

  • M.Tech aspirants are required to fill the online application form of NSIT M. Tech 2017by mentioning all the requisite information, which includes personal details, educational qualification and contact details.

  • Candidates must upload the scanned documents, which includes their photograph, signature and thumb impression. The photograph should be more than 4 KB and less than 100 KB and it should be in jpg/jpeg format only.

  • The thumb impression and signature should be greater than IKB and less than 30KB and it should be in jpg/jpeg format only

  • Once the candidates have filled the form, they will have to pay the application fees online either by using the debit card, credit card or through internet banking.

  • Once the candidates have submitted the application form, they will have to generate a password as per the specifications mentioned in the brouchre

  • Candidates are required to print the NSIT M. Tech 2017 Application Form after submitting it as they would be requiring it at the time of counselling.

NSIT M. Tech Selection Procedure 2017


Candidates will be selected in the M.Tech programme on the basis of the GATE score.

Those candidates who have completed their bachelor of engineering (B.E.) or bachelor of technology (B.Tech) or equivalent degree course as on the date of online registration, they will have an edge over others.


Points to Remember

1. A merit list will be prepared only for those candidates who have cleared the GATE exam and belong the Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) and Physically Challenged Candidates.

2. Once the selection committee clears the names of the candidates , they will be provided admission


NSIT M. Tech Counselling 2017


All shortlisted candidates will have to undergo counselling for admission to the three different M.Tech courses that are being offered at NSIT. All those candidates who have a valid GATE score and have been shortlisted by the candidate will be eligible for NSIT counselling.


Meanwhile, candidates will have verify their documents before they proceed for counselling. The list of documents is given below in the table.

Candidates will have to carry a printout of application and this has to be signed by the candidate along with a passport size photograph.



Candidates will have to present an original copy of the GATE score and it has to be self-attested


In support of date of birth, candidates will have to present self attested copy of class 10th certificate


They will have to present a proof of CGPA/FGPA conversion to Percentage



Those candidates who belong to the reserved category will have to present self attested copy of Caste/ Category certificate. The certificate has to be issued by a competent authority.


Candidates will have to show the original receipt of application fee of Rs. 1000/ which was paid by the candidate and also its photocopy


They need to present a valid id proof, which includes PAN Card, Passport, Aadhar card, Driving license.
