REAP CounsellingREAP Counselling 2017 - The Rajasthan Technical University will hold centralized counselling of REAP 2017 from July 10 in the online mode, with the announcement of first list. The online registration of REAP 2017 commenced from May 15, 2017 and the last date for registration and choice filling will be June 30, 2017. Candidates will have to pay a non-refunadbale registration fee of Rs 700, while filling the online application form. They will also have to pay Rs 10,000 as advance fees. The REAP 2017 counselling will take place separately for candidates who are from outside Rajasthan and those who are domicile of Rajasthan. They must register for counselling of REAP only once including that for special and spot round.  Candidates with no JEE Main scores can also apply on the basis of their Class XII marks for the vacant seats of REAP left after allotment to JEE Main candidates. The REAP 2017 Counselling consists of online registration, choice filling, seat allocation and physical reporting to the allotted college for admission. Candidates applying through JEE Main 2017 will have an edge as compared to those who are applying on the basis of class XII percentile.  There will be two separate merit lists that will be prepared. Steps for REAP Counselling 2017

 

Candidates have to follow the given steps to participate in REAP counselling. It is imperative that they meet the required eligibility criteria before they apply for the same. The steps for REAP 2017  counselling are given below:

 

Step 1- Online registration - Click here to register

  • Candidates have to register themselves online and fill the required educational and personal details.

  • They will have to upload their photograph not more than 100 KB in JPG format and signature not more than 50 KB in JPG format

  • Payment of Rs 700 online through Debit Card/Credit Cards/ net banking or at E-Mitra centres.

  • After registration, candidates must note down the unique login id details which include the Challan No., Token code/transaction no, date of birth and mother’s name. They must print the application form after editing if required.

Step 2-Online choice filling and locking

  • Candidates must login by using sixteen digits (or twelve digits) E-mitra no./ Bill desk transaction Id., mother’s name and date of birth

  • Candidates can fill their choices of seats available from the given list of institutions, and the B.Tech/B.E courses

  • Candidates must fill as many choices as they can so that they don’t miss a seat on account of “Choice exhausted condition”.

  • They must save their choices every time they log in and edit the same.

  • Editing is allowed till the last date of choice filling.

  • When candidates are sure of all their choices, they must lock the choices finally else the system will automatically lock the choices to the last saved ones.

Step 3- Seat Allotment procedure

  • REAP Seat Allotment 2017 is on the basis of the merit rank of the candidates and the choices filled by them.

  • Candidates have to download their provisional seat allotment letters which will contain their personal details as well as details of the institution and programme to they have been provisionally admitted and details of initial fee payment.

  • REAP Seat allotment will be done in several rounds as mentioned below

Second Round

If a candidate is allotted a seat of higher preference, then that particular seat will fall vacant and it will be allocated to subsequent candidates.

Fresh choice filling will not be permitted.

Registered candidates will not have the option to change or resubmit their choices

3.

Third Round

Candidates who have JEE Main score and were not allotted seats due to exhaustion of their choice, will be allowed to participate in this round

Candidates who are registered and do not have JEE Main score, have the option to change their choice. 

New candidates who meet the requisite eligibility criteria, will be allowed to register after paying the application form fee and fill new choices

Reported candidates in the first and second round will not be allowed to participate again in the counselling process.

  • Those candidates who were allotted seats but they did not report at the allotted institutes in the first and second rounds will not be allowed to participate in the third round of counselling. They will have to register as a new candidate.

4.

Fourth Round

Candidates will be allotted seats due to upward movement. They will be awarded seats according to the choice of the programme that they had filled and now the seat has fallen vacant as the candidates to whom it was originally allotted did not report  at the allotted institute.

5.

Fifth Round

  • Candidates who had registered earlier and had not paid the davnace fees, they will hvae the option to participate in the spot round by paying Rs 10, 000 and will hvae to fill the choice.

  • Candidates who had earlier registered and taken admission at the alloted institute, they can join the spot round after withdrawing their admission and paying a fee of Rs 10, 000. These candidates will have the option to change their choice.

  • Candidates who had initially applied and were not alloted seats due to exhaustion of choice, they can participate in the spot rund without paying any fee and can modify the choice of programme.

  • Candidates who had participated in the main round of counselling but did not join teh alloted institute, they can participate in spot round by paying fee of Rs10, 000. such candidates can modify their choice

  • Candidates who had not applied earlier can register themselves by paying a non-refunadble fees of Rs 700 and advance fees of Rs 10,000. They can fill the choice of their programme online. 

Step 4- Physical Reporting and Admission at the allotted institute

1. Candidates who have been allotted seats, will have to be physically present at the allotted institute at the scheduled time.

2. Candidates will be required to carry with them requisite certificates, original documents for verification, one set of self-attested photocopies of the documents. They are also required to bring with them the printout of the application form with the signature.

Consolidated marksheet/ Grade of qualifying examination

11.

Undertaking to be taken by OBC/SBC in a particular format

12.

Wards of ex-servicemen will have to produce the certificate if applicable

Candidates are required to carry with them the total fee that has to be deposited at the allotted institute.

 

Note- Candidates furnishing any incorrect information will forfeit his admission. They must deposit all the original documents and balance fee at the last reported institute. 

 

It is mandatory for the candidates to bring their Aadhaar Card when they report at the alloted institute.

 

Withdrawal of allotment

The candidate will have to report at the allotted institute of he or she wishes to cancel his or her admission. Such candidates will have to surrender their allotment letter along with cancelled application on or before July 31, 2017.  The candidate will get the refund from the allotted institute according to the AICTE guidelines if they cancel their candidature on or before the specified date.
