SAAT 2017SAAT 2017: The counselling session of SAAT 2017 has commenced. The status of allotment has been sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates. Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University conducted Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) 2017 from April 22 to 25, 2017 in online mode. The national level engineering entrance test – SAAT 2017 was conducted across 62 exam centres in 40 cities. For the academic year 2016-17, the entrance exam was conducted across 72 exam centres in 50 cities of India. The application form was available for all eligible applicants. The last date for the submission of the online application form was extended till April 18, 2017. SAAT 2017 is an entrance test having multiple choice questions. The university shortlisted candidates on the basis of SAAT 2017. In 1 of the 5 campuses, the university also offers admissions through JEE Main 2017. Further, the shortlisted candidates will be called for personally attending/participating in the counselling procedure of SAAT 2017. Aspiring candidates, who wish to take admission at SOA University and its constituent institutes through SAAT 2017 must meet the eligibility criteria of the entrance test before they start applying for it. Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan is a deemed university, U/S 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 and is located in Bhubaneswar in Odisha. SAAT Eligibility Criteria 2017

 

SAAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria include eligibility conditions set by SOA University for admissions to B.Tech programmes. The eligibility criteria of SAAT 2017 give details related to age, qualifying exam, marks in qualifying examination, etc. basis which the aspirants are considered eligible for appearing in SAAT 2017. More details about the eligibility criteria of SAAT 2017 are given below.

  • In order to be considered eligible, all candidates must have passed class XII/10+2 or equivalent exam.

  • They should have taken Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects - Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Informatics/ Statistics or any other subject in class 12/XII.

  • In the subjects mentioned above, the candidates must have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in class 12th.

  • Candidates appearing in class 12 in 2017 are can also apply.

SAAT Application Form 2017

 

SAAT 2017 Application Form was available for all eligible applicants in online as well as offline mode. For offline mode, candidates could get SAAT 2017 application form personally or by post from SOA University, Khandagiri Square, Bhubaneswar - 751030 or from the counters of the constituent institutes of the university. For online mode, the candidates could apply online through the link provided in the article. The processing of SAAT application form was done offline wherein the candidates had to darken the circles on the form with either black/blue ball pen or by HB pencil.

 

To fill the application form, the applicants had to register themselves with their valid email id. A verification code was sent to the registered email id and the applicants was able to process further by entering the allotted verification code. Scanned photograph and signature of the applicant had to be uploaded in the application form. While filling the application form of SAAT 2017, the applicants had to fill in their personal details, contact details, course preferences, education details, extra personal details and select their three preferred examination centres and dates. Once all of the information is submitted, the applicants had to read the undertaking and select it and then finally submit the application form. No application fees will have to be paid by the applicants.

SAAT Admit Card 2017

The admit card of SAAT 2017 is now available only in online mode. The candidates will have to download it the admit card and keep it with them for future use. SAAT 2017 admit card will be available only for the candidates who successfully submit their application form for the entrance test.

 

Candidates need to take the printout of the downloaded admit card and have to produce an identity proof along with the admit card in the exam centre.

 

Note: All applicants of SAAT 2017 must keep safe with them the hall ticket of SAAT 2017 till the admission procedure is complete.

SAAT Sample Papers 2017

 

SAAT 2017 Sample Papers will be released by SOA University. Through the use of SAAT 2017 sample papers, the aspirants can polish their skills of solving the type of the questions that come in the entrance test. Sample Papers of SAAT 2017 are the model papers/previous years’ papers that help candidates in knowing the complete pattern of the actual questions paper and the nature of the questions. By practising the model papers of SAAT 2017, the candidates get to know their strong and weak areas. By getting the first hand experience while solving the sample papers of SAAT 2017, they can avoid mistakes in the actual test.

SAAT Result 2017

 

SAAT 2017 Result will be announced online on May 6, 2017. The university will prepare a merit list on the basis of candidates’ performance in SAAT 2017. Admissions to B.Tech programmes will be offered based on candidates score/marks in SAAT 2017. To check their result, the test takers will have to enter their SAAT 2017 application number and roll number.

 

Advisory: Take a printout of the result and keep it safe until the admission process gets over.


SAAT Counselling & Seat Allotment 2017

 

SAAT 2017 Counselling & Seat Allotment will be conducted purely on the basis of merit list of SAAT 2017 and the availability of the seats. Candidates applying for admissions through JEE Main 2017 also have to attend the counselling as per the specified dates in the institute. During the counselling and seat allotment, the examinees have to be personally present at the counselling venue and get their certificates/documents verified. Failure of producing the document will lead to cancellation of the candidates’ admission. The status of allotment has already been sent through SMS to the registered mobile number of the candidates on May 11, 2017. 

 

The required fees have to be paid by the candidates by May 17, 2017 (Midnight).
