SRMJEEE 2017 started today - April 3 at the university’s allotted test centre in Dwarka, Delhi. The entrance exam to SRM University’s B.Tech programmes started from April 1 and will end on April 30, 2017. SRMJEEE 2017 is being conducted at 118 centres across the country and at 5 centres outside India. Since SRMJEEE is an online test, a team from Careers360 went to the exam centres to get an insight about the exam along with an analysis by the test givers on day 1 at the Delhi centre. The entry to the SRMJEEE 2017 centre in New Delhi started at 8.30 am. However, candidates were allowed to enter the examination hall even after 9:30. Candidates without SRMJEEE admit card 2017 and official id were not allowed inside the examination hall. About 98 students appeared in the exam today in two slots- Slot 1 from 9:30 to 12 and Slot-2 from 2 to 4:30.
SRMJEEE 2017 Exam Analysis
The SRMJEEE 2017 entrance exam was easy, however, some candidates found Physics section difficult. Chemistry turned out to be everyone’s favourite as it was the easiest amongst the three.
An equal number of questions were asked from Class XI & XII syllabus in the exam.
Many aspirants of SRMJEEE 2017 completed their exam before time and left the examination hall early.
According to some candidates, there were some spelling mistakes in the question paper and two to three questions in the exam were wrong.

Aditya : “I am confident of cracking the exam. I have prepared well from my brother’s notes.”
Abhishek has been preparing for SRMJEEE for last 2 years and has been taking coaching from Sri Chaitanya for the same. He has plans to appear in VITEEE, UPSEE, JEE Main online, KIITEE & BITSAT.
Sidhant - “The exam was easy. Every section had 2 or 3 difficult questions which took 5 minutes each, I found spelling mistakes. My session expired before I even started so I lost a bit of time registering again. I scored 156 marks”
Prateek –“Chemistry was the easiest. I am confident about Physics and Chemistry so I didn’t attempt questions in Mathematics. I have been taking coaching from FIITJEE”.
Sanket Mittal - “The exam was good but there were some numericals for which values were not provided. I scored 240 marks out of 315 in the exam. I studied with the help of my school books. There were more questions from class XII and overall management of exam was good. I left 50 minutes before the exam hours ended”.
Gautam –“I scored 213 marks in the exam. The overall exam was easy, except for the Physics section. Three questions were wrong in the exam. There was equal weightage given to Class XI and Class XII syllabus.
Apoorv –“I found all the three sections to be easy. I scored 129 marks”.
Mrityunjay - “I scored 243 out of 315. Two questions in the exam were wrong. I found a majority of questions to be theoretical.”
Vipul –“I too found the exam easy. I found more questions from class XII syllabus in today’s exam”
Sahil who appeared for slot 2 at 2 pm –“I found Physics to be difficult”.
Abhishek –“I scored 156 and I think the exam was easy. This is my first attempt and I am confident of getting through”
Yashodhra –“I found no technical glitches but found two wrong questions in the exam. The overall exam was easy. Physics was slightly tough and I scored 177”
