TANCA Seat Allotment 2017: The admission committee of Anna University will be holding the seat allotment of TANCA 2017 tentatively from the month of June 2017. The applicants will have to physically report at the venue for the allotment procedure. During the TANCA 2017 seat allotment, the eligible applicants will be allotted seats into the participating institutes as per their secured ranks and availability of seats. All admissions will be done based on the merit of the registered applicants. The original documents of the applicants will also be verified during TANCA seat allotment 2017. After the allotment procedure is completed, the applicants will have to report at their alloted institutes. To participate in the seat allotment process of TANCA 2017, the applicants should register themselves successfully. The applicants will also have to meet the required eligibility criteria. Qualification in TANCET or GATE is the most important criteria that all applicants will have to satisfy. Unqualified applicants will be disqualified from the admission procedure. TANCA Counselling 2017
Registrations for TANCA 2017 seat allotment will commence tentatively from May 2017. All of the applicants will have to register themselves to participate in the admission procedure. All of the detailed information regarding the personal, academic and contact details of the applicant has to be submitted. The merit list consisting of the selected applicants will be published by the admission committee. The ranking of the applicants as per his/her score in the entrance examination will be available. Separate merit list will be prepared for the TANCET 2017 qualified and GATE qualified applicants.
TANCA Seat Allotment 2017
All of the applicants listed in the merit list will have to report physically at Anna University for the seat allotment. The counselling call letter consisting of the timings for allotment will be available online tentatively in the month of June. The applicants will have to download the call letter and bring it to the venue.
In case, the applicants are not able to attend the TANCA 2017 seat allotment due to some unforeseen and unavoidable reasons, then he/she will be able to:
Authorize his/her parents on his/her behalf and the parent’s decision will be binding on the applicant. The parents will have to produce the authorization letter from the applicant along with their photo identity proof.
The applicants will also be able to attend the allotment session on another date/time, however, he/she will be able to select only from the available seats.
In the next step, the documents of the applicants will be verified. Only after all of the documents are successfully verified, the applicants will be allotted seats. All of the applicants will be allotted based on the merit of the applicants as per the reservation norms of Government of Tamil Nadu. The number of seats available will also affect the allotment.
During TANCA 2017 seat allotment process, the applicants will also be required to pay fees in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “The Secretary, TANCA, Anna University” payable at Chennai. In case the applicants are allotted seats, then this fees will be adjusted with the tuition fees which has to be paid at the allotted institute.
SC/ SCA/ ST applicants belonging to Tamil Nadu
After being allotted seats, a provisional TANCA seat allotment letter as well as receipt of payment of counselling fees will be provided to the applicants. Reporting at the allotted institute has to be done to confirm the admission and pay the balance fees.
Refund of Counselling Fees
In case the applicants do not report and join the allotted college, then he/she will be eligible for only 80% refund of the actual fees. The following documents should be submitted by the applicants for refund:
