UPSEE 2017 - Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has announced the dates for the UPSEE 2017 with the UPSEE exam to be held on April 16, 2017. Aspirants seeking admissions to B.Tech programmes in the engineering colleges of Uttar Pradesh have to appear in UPSEE 2017. Nearly 2 lakh candidates appear every year for this state level engineering entrance exam for admission to 1.50 lakh engineering seats. The Application form for UPSEE 2017 is available online from January 18, 2017 onwards with the last date for UPSEE application form 2017 being February 28, 2017. Candidates who have made mistakes in their application form can partially correct the details as per specifications from March 27 to 29, 2017. Download facility of the UPSEE Admit Card will be available from April 7 till April 16, 2017 only. Results for the UPSEE 2017 exam can be expected on or before May 30, 2017. The Application form for UPSEE 2017 is online and candidates have to pay the application fee online only. As per the university norms, out of the total seats available in engineering/architecture domain at private institutions, 10% will be kept open for candidates of other states. Admission to these seats will be done on the basis of combined merit of UPSEE 2017. Along with that, 20% of the total seats available in private institutions will be filled on the basis of JEE Main 2017 merit. Out of these 20% of seats, half of the total seats will be filled by candidates of UP domicile only and remaining will be filled by all India merit candidates. What's New in UPSEE 2017?
- There is an increase in the UPSEE Application Fees in 2017. An increase of Rs 100 has been notified.
- Submission of Aadhaar Card number for registration has been made mandatory.
- Kanpur Dehat has been added as a new exam centre for the applicants.
Salient Features of UPSEE 2017:
The Application Process is online and no documents need be sent to the University after submission.

Private Institutes - 85% of the seats will be filled through UPSEE 2017
Cutoff marks for qualifying the exam will be 25% of the marks in the UPSEE exam. For SC/ST candidates it is 20%.
UPSEE Eligibility Criteria 2017
Applicants must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 or equivalent along with any one of Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical vocational subject.
Candidates appearing for admissions to the B.Tech in Biotechnology must have studied Physics & Mathematics OR Biology as mandatory subjects with optional subjects being Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Technical Vocational subject
All aspirants must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent from any recognised board/university. They must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% aggregate marks for SC/ST Category candidates) without grace in 10+2 or equivalent.
Those candidates, who will be appearing in their 10+2 or equivalent in 2017, can also apply for UPSEE 2017.

UPSEE Application Form 2017
UPSEE 2017 Application Form is available from January 18 to February 28, 2017 till 11.59 pm. The application form of UPSEE 2017 will be available in online mode only.
Female candidates, Physically Disabled and SC/ST category candidates
Application Fee Payment Mode: The application fee for UPSEE 2017 can be paid online only. To pay the fee, candidates can use Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

UPSEE Exam Centres 2017
The list of UPSEE 2017 Exam Centres has been announced in the UPSEE information brochure for the entrance exam. The entrance test will be conducted across 41 centres in the state and 8 centres outside the state in major cities. The total number of the UPSEE Exam Centres 2017 are 49. While the authorities will try to allot the first and primary preference of the candidates, AKTU may allot any one of the three chose centres.An exam centre may also be cancelled in case of unforseen circumstances.

UPSEE Exam Pattern 2017
The UPSEE exam is offline. The Exam Pattern announced by the University is the same as in the year 2017. Candidates will have the question paper in English and Hindi but the English version will be considered as final in case of ambiguity. The paper duration will be for 3 hours. Candidates must use a black or blue ball pen only in the exam.

UPSEE Admit Card 2017
The UPSEE 2017 admit card can be downloaded from April 7 onwards. The last date to download the admit card is April 16, 2017. The UPSEE 2017 admit card will be available online only. Downloaded admit card shall be treated as valid identity proof for UPSEE 2017. Candidates must check all the details mentioned on UPSEE 2017 Admit Card. In case of any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates must inform it to the university. Personal details of a candidate like name, father's name, category, sub-category etc. along with exam details like exam venue, exam date and exam time will be mentioned on the admit card of UPSEE 2017. UPSEE Participating Institutes 2017
UPSEE 2017 participating institutes list out the engineering college of Uttar Pradesh which will accept the score of UPSEE 2017 for admission to their B.Tech programmes. Participaing institutes of UPSEE 2017 comprise of government institutions, government aided institutions and private institutes affiliated to AKTU. The list of participating institutes of UPSEE 2017 published by AKTU must be checked by applicants to know the colleges they can apply to in case they qualify in the entrance exam.

UPSEE Result 2017
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University will announce UPSEE 2017 Result on or before May 30, 2017. The result will comprise of the marks obtained by candidates in UPSEE 2017. To check the result, candidates will be required to log in and enter their 8 digit UPSEE 2017 roll number in the window given.

UPSEE Counselling 2017
After the declaration of UPSEE 2017 result, AKTU will publish the details and procedure for UPSEE 2017 counselling. Only those candidates, who qualify in the UPSEE 2017 exam, will be allowed to participate in the counselling. Candidates have to participate in UPSEE 2017 counselling as per the schedule that will be announced by the University on the basis of the ranks of the candidates and the merit list.
During counselling, candidates have to fill their choices and then have to appear personally for document verification process. After successful allotment of seat in a college, students will be required to deposit some part of admission fee at the counselling centre. An allotment letter will also be issued to the candidates to submit while reporting to the allotted institution.
On the day of reporting, they will be required to deposit the remaining amount of fee and other charges (if applicable) to complete their admission formalities. In case a candidate does not report to the allotted institute, the fee deposited at counselling centre will not be refunded to him.
Seats will be allotted to candidates during UPSEE 2017 counselling on the basis of their ranks in the UPSEE entrance exam, in the order of preference given for the seats and availability of seats in the category.
