WBJEE 2017 - The correction facility of the application form of WBJEE 2017 is now available from February 6 to February 8, 2017. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct the WBJEE 2017 entrance test on April 23, 2017 for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes. WBJEE will be held in offline mode in 2 sessions – the morning session will be for Paper-I in Mathematics (11 am - 1 pm) and the evening session for Paper-II in Physics & Chemistry (2 pm - 4 pm). WBJEE 2017 will be held in centres across 19 districts as well as two test centres in neighbouring states of Assam and Tripura. Candidates can download the WBJEE Admit Card from April 12, 2017. LATEST - Candidates applied for admissions to UG engineering programmes can now modify their WBJEE 2017 application details. Earlier, WBJEE 2017 Application form was made available from January 5, 2017. Aspiring candidates could pay the application fee for WBJEE 2017 through online & offline mode till February 4, 2017.
WBJEE offers admissions to the engineering courses in about 104 institutes and colleges across the state through a common counselling held after the announcement of the WBJEE 2017 Result declaration.
Admissions to participating institutes of WBJEE 2017 will be offered to the candidates on the basis of their ranks in WBJEE 2017. WBJEE 2017 result will be announced tentatively on June 5, 2017. However, self-financed engineering colleges may also offer admissions to candidates basis their merit in all India common entrance test, viz. JEE Main 2017.

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2017
WBJEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria provide details about the eligibility conditions that are required to be met by the aspiring candidates in order to be considered eligible for taking WBJEE 2017. WBJEE 2017 eligibility criteria include requirements related to age, education, domicile, etc. Read below to know in detail al the eligibility criteria of WBJEE 2017.
WBJEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria related to Domicile
Aspirants should be citizens of India
For medical and dental programmes, the candidates are required to have the domicile of West Bengal, while for B.Tech/B.E. programmes, West Bengal domicile is not required.
WBJEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria related to age
For all B.Tech programmes (except Marine Engineering), applicants need to be atleast 17 years of age on December 31, 2017. There is no upper age limit. The aspirants born on or after January 1, 2001 are not eligibilt to apear in the entrance exam.
For B.Tech in Marine Engineering programme, the candidates must be atleast 17 years of age on December 31, 2017 and the upper age limit is 25 years on December 31, 2017.
WBJEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria related to educational qualification
The candidates must have passed class XII or equivalent board recognised by Central/State government in the country with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of the subjects which are Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Computer Applications.
They are also required to have passed in all three subjects with individual passing marks in both theory as well as practical papers studied in regular class mode.
The applicants belonging to general category need to secure a minimum aggregate marks of 45% in class XII or equivalent board recognised by Central/State government.
Only reserved category candidates are required to have passed minimum of 40% aggregate marks in class XII or equivalent board recognised by Central/State government.
All the applicants must have passed with a minimum aggregate marks of 30% in English in class XII or equivalent board recognised by Central/State government.
For B.Tech in Dairy Technology programme, the candidates must have passed class XII or equivalent board recognised by Central/State government. The applicants belonging to general category must have scored a minimum aggregate marks of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics, while the reserved category applicants must have secured minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics taken together.

For claiming reservation on the reserved seats in government engineering colleges in West Bengal, the candidates must be domicile of West Bengal.

WBJEE Exam Pattern 2017
WBJEE Exam Pattern 2017 provides all details about several aspects of WBJEE 2017. The exam pattern of WBJEE 2017 includes details about the type of the question paper and questions asked in the entrance test, marking scheme, total number of questions asked, weightage given to each subject in the question paper, etc. Go through the table below to understand the test pattern of WBJEE 2017.

WBJEE 2017 will have multiple choice questions (MCQs) or objective type questions.
There will be 4 answer options for every question wherein the test takers have to choose 1 correct answer option out of the 4.
The candidates have to mark the correct answer for each question on the OMR sheet.
For each incorrect/multiple answer options, 1/4th mark will be deducted.
- 1 mark will be given for each correct answer option in Category 1, while 2 marks will be given for each correct answer option in Category 2 & 3.
The test takers have to mark the answer options on the OMR sheet with blue or black ball point pen.

WBJEE Admit Card 2017
WBJEE 2017 Admit Card will be made available for downloading by the exam conducting authority on April 12, 2017. WBJEE 2017 Admit Card will be available for all candidates who successfully submit their application form for WBJEE 2017. All applicants have to download their WBJEE admit card 2017 and carry its hard copy along with them to their respective allotted test centre.

WBJEE Cutoff 2017
WBJEE 2017 Cutoff is the closing rank of a particular B.Tech branch or a participating institute at which admissions into that undergraduate engineering programme at the particular institute closes. This means that candidates aspiring for admissions into B.Tech programmes across the participating institutes of WBJEE 2017 need to have atleast the cutoff marks or above that in order to be eligible for admissions. WBJEEB announces separate cutoff for different undergraduate engineering programmes and institute-wise closing ranks.
The cutoff ranks for WBJEE 2016 are not available, however, candidates can go through WBJEE cutoff of the previous year below.
