About WBJEE 2015: Conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, The WBJEE 2015 is the entrance examination for admissions to various professional courses in various fields of Engineering/Architecture/Technology for various university and colleges in West Bengal.
WBJEE 2015 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must be Indian Nationals and must have met the Domicile requirements of the state.
For Colleges other than Jadavpur University
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board with a minimum of 45% in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/PwD/OBC candidates)
Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with optional subjects as Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects (Engineering Drawing / Computer Science) and must have passed each subject individually
Candidates must also have secured a minimum of 30% marks in English
Age Limit: Candidates must be 17 years or above by December 2015
For Jadavpur University:
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 level) or its equivalent examination with aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (55% for SC/ST/PwD)
They must have secured at least 30% marks in English (for all categories of candidates)
Candidates must also have individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English
Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2015.
For B.Tech/B.E Marine Engineering:
Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Maths, Physics and Chemistry in 10+2 from a recognized board
A minimum of 50% in Engish is mandatory either at the Class X level or Class XII level.
Candidates must have passed individually in the subjects of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Vernacular and English.
Candidates cannot be older than 25 years of age.
WBJEE 2015 Eligibility Crtiteria for JEE Main 2015 Candidates:
Candidates must have qualified in JEE Main 2015.
They must meet the WBJEE 2015 Eligibility Crtiteria except for the Domicile requirements.
Candidates under this category are eligible for 10% seats in the Private Self Financing Colleges only
WBJEE 2015 Selection Procedure: on the basis of WBJEE 2015 Merit Rank/scores OR JEE Main 2015 Merit Rank/scores
The Exam will comprise of three papers:
Mathematics (100 marks),
Physics (50 marks)
Chemistry (50 Marks).

WBJEE 2015 Result: Result of WBJEE 2015 was published on June 5, 2015.
Note: WBJEE 2015 Results can be downloaded by the candidates using their WBJEE 2015 Roll Number or Application Number and Date of Birth.
WBJEE 2015 Merit Rank will be announced soon after the declaration of the results. The counselling for WBJEE 2015 will be conducted in three phases- First, Second and Third. The phases of counselling shall depend on the total number of meritorious students and the availability of the seats.
A fourth round may be conducted if seats are available after the deemed three rounds of WBJEE Counselling are concluded.
