After WBJEE 2017 Seat Allotment is announced
Candidates allotted a seat in WBJEE 2017 for the first time must first download the allotment and report to the reporting centres.
They must pay the Seat Acceptance Fee through echallan of Allahabad Bank or online through Debit/Credit Card to download the allotment letter
Fees to be paid are given below in the table
Candidates must carry the proof of payment along with the allotment letter and documents specified to the reporting centres.
After verification, candidates must express their willingness to participate in further rounds.
They will also be required to sign a declaration that in the event of an allotment in the subsequent rounds, their earlier allotted seat will stand cancelled
Candidates who are satisfied with their allotment must indicate the same to ensure that their seat is retained for the subsequent rounds.
Candidates will be issued the provisional seat allotment letter containing details of the seat allotted, fees paid and willingness to upgrade after the completion of the document verification

WBJEE 2017 Seat Allotment – Guidelines for Second & Third rounds
Fresh registration will not be allowed for the second or third round of counselling.
Candidates who have completed their admission formalities during the first round are eligible for the second and third rounds
The process is the same as the first round for these two rounds
Candidates must report to the RCs after payment of seat acceptance fee and express their willingness to upgrade or not
There is no facility for upgradation in the third round as it is the last round
Who is eligible for the second round of WBJEE 2017 Counselling?
Group 1 - Registered candidates who did not get any allotment in the first round
Group 2 - Registered candidates who were allotted seats in the first round but was cancelled due to non-fulfilment of eligibility criteria
Group 3 - Registered candidates who confirmed their admission in the first round and expressed a willingness to upgrade in the subsequent rounds
Group 4 - Registered candidates who have confirmed their admissions and do not wish for upgradation. Their old seat will be retained in the subsequent rounds of counselling of WBJEE

Group 3 - Only higher preference choices will be processed
Group 4 - Only previous allotted choices will be processed for category allocation
Who is not eligible for the second round of WBJEE counselling?
Candidates who have not reported to the RCs
Candidates who have reported and paid but have withdrawn from the counselling process
Candidates whose documents are not in order
Withdrawal of Seat Allotment of WBJEE: Candidates wishing to withdraw must report in person to the RC where they have confirmed their registration and seat allotment to give the application for withdrawal and fee refund.
Conversion rules in the Third Round of WBJEE Seat Allotment: Vacant seats will be converted as per the given guidelines to open category and allotted till the seats remaining are zero.
