Must study units from Mathematics for JEE Main with more weightage:

Majority of the questions in JEE Main Mathematics section were from Coordinate Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Matrix & Determinants, Sequence & Series, Co-ordinate Geometry (3-D) and Trigonometry emerged as the most important units from Mathematics for JEE Main last year. Out of the total 30 questions, as many as 22 questions had come from these 7 units only. JEE Main 2016 - Most Important Units in Physics:

In 2016, Modern Physics, Mechanics, Electrodynamics were the units from where maximum number of questions came – 8, 7 and 6 respectively. This means that 70% of the questions in Physics section revolved around these 3 topics only. Which units you must study deeply from Chemistry for JEE Main?

All 30 questions in JEE Main Chemistry section last year featured from 6 topics only. These 6 crucial units are Organic Chemistry-II, Inorganic Chemistry-I, Inorganic Chemistry-II, Physical Chemistry-I, Physical Chemistry-II and Organic Chemistry-I. Out of these 6 units, organic Chemistry-II has maximum number of questions – 8, which carried a weightage of total 32 marks. Inorganic Chemistry I & II and Physical Chemistry I & II formed 40% and around 27% of the questions paper for Chemistry. In 2015 too, the Chemistry section of JEE Main question paper in had questions from Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Out of the 3 units, Inorganic Chemistry had 11 questions, which carried 44 marks followed by Physical Chemistry from where 10 questions were asked.
