Odisha JEE Application Procedure

  • Register selecting the correct form

  • Upload images

  • Pay the examination fee.

  • After that, candidates can take print of their confirmation page. 

Mode of Odisha JEE Application Fee Payment

  • Candidates can make payment of application fees through Debit/Credit Card (Visa/Master/Maestro/Net Banking).
  • The candidates has to follow the instructions and submit the fee through bank gateway.

OR

  • E-Challan mode for payment is possible in State Bank of India.
  • After on line application form filled up, e- challan form option will be visible.
  • Candidates should print the challan and then move to any branch of State Bank of India branch and pay the fee.

Odisha JEE Application Process

  • JEE Main Roll Number and the password will be required to be entered by the candidates to log in for registration, editing in OJEE Application Form or for any other purpose.

  • Candidates must cross check their personal data for discrepancies after logging in.

  • In case of any discrepancies found, it must be informed to OJEE office or to the nodal officers at nodal centers during the document verification.

  • It is must to rectify the discrepancies as wrong information may lead to cancellation of allotted seat.

Steps to be followed before filling the Application Form

  • Before filling up OJEE Application Form, the candidate should have scanned images of his/her photograph, full signature and left thumb impression.

  • These scanned images are to be uploaded during the submission of application form.

  • The photograph should be coloured which must be without cap or goggles.

  • Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable.

  • Candidates with unclear photograph are liable to be rejected.

  • They may keep 3-5 identical photographs in reserve for use at the time of entrance examination, counselling and admission.

Odisha JEE Eligibility Criteria

OJEE Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech Programmes

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Electronics/ Computer science/ Information Technology/ Geology/ Statistics.
  • They should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.

OR

  • Candidates must have studied these subjects- Language, Physics, Mathematics, Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Bio-technology, Technical vocational subject) and Any other subject.
  • They should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
  • There is no age limit to take admission into Engineering & Technology courses.

 

OJEE Eligibility for admission to Marine Engineering

  1. A candidate must be 12th pass with minimum 60% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and the candidate should have obtained with minimum of 50% marks in English Language at 10th or at 12th standard. A candidate must be below 25 years as on 31st December, 2016.

  2. Eyesight for candidates should be 6/12 in both eyes, including no colour blindness. They should have 6/12 in there better Eye and 6/18 in other left Eye.

  • Candidates opting for Marine Engineering (MAE) as choice must ensure themselves satisfying all above conditions strictly.

  • Any deviation or furnishing of any wrong information related to eligibility criteria or got an allotment in MAE and latter detected not fulfilling as per above eligibility criteria, the admission will be cancelled at any stage and the candidate will be out of that round counselling process.

  • Candidates are advised before giving a choice in Marine Engineering (MAE) must ensure themselves regarding the eligibility guidelines to avoid any dissatisfaction for being getting cancellation of allotment at any stage of counselling process (even at institute level if mark and physical standard norms are not true as mentioned above).

Steps of ODJEE Counselling

  • Registration

  • Check Temporary Allotment

OJEE Online Registration

  • Candidates need to register online for OJEE Counselling.

  • Candidates have to choose a Password and fill other details during registration process.

Note: Only the students who qualify JEE Main will be eligible for admission through OJEE entrance exam.

 

OJEE Online Choice Filling

Students will have to choose their choices for branches and engineering colleges as per availability of the same and rank. Using their JEE Main Roll Number as log in ID, students have to sign in for entering their preferences for engineering branches and colleges. Candidates must be very careful at the time of entering choices as the choices once locked can’t be change at any stage.

 

Reporting at Nodal Centre

Odisha state candidates who have appeared in JEE Main at different centers outside states need to report at the below mentioned Nodal Centre for document verification.

 

Counselling Fee: Rs.450

OJEE Counselling Fee has to be paid through demand draft drawn in favor of “OJEE”. Draft must be payable at Bhubaneswar.

 

 2. University Registration Fee: Rs.5000

Fee can be paid by Debit card/credit card, online banking or by challan paid in any SBI branch.

 

3. Document Verification:  Candidates need to produce the following documents in original along with 2 sets of photocopies for submission at the nodal centre:

  • Original Rank Card of JEE Main

  • Original JEE Main Online Registration slip

  • Relevant certificate as a proof of date of birth

  • 10 + 2 Pass certificate

  • 10 + 2 Marks Sheet

  • School Leaving / College Leaving Certificate

  • Original Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department of Odisha

  • Original Certificate in support of NRI

  • Domicile Certificate

  • Defense Service Certificate (if applicable)

  • Caste Validity Certificate (if applicable)

  • Non Creamy Layer certificate (if applicable)

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

 Final Choice Locking

  • Final Choice Locking for OJEE is done at the nodal centres after document verification and payment of University Registration Fee.
  • Candidates must have a printout of finally locked choices before leaving the nodal centre.
  • They must also ensure that candidate’s signature and nodal officer’s signature are done on the printout.
