IPU CET 2013 Eligibility Criteria

All aspirants must satisfy the IPU CET 2013 Eligibility Criteria before applying. students should check all details of qualifying exam, percentage required, age limit if any, subjects and pass percentage etc. Students who donot  meet any one of the IPU CET 2013 Eligibility Criteria will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Apart form the core subjects, candidates must also fulfil the English subject criteria.

IPU CET 2013
Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit for all Undergraduate courses is 21 years as on the date of admission.

1. For B.Tech./M.Tech (Dual Degree) Bio-Technology:

  • Must have passed 10+2 (CBSE or equivalent )

  • Must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in the qualifying exam

  • Must have passed individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology

  • Must have passed English as a subject in the qualifying examination


2. For B.Tech. / M.Tech. (Dual Degree) and B.Tech Eligibility
:

  • Pass in Class XII (CBSE or equivalent)

  • Must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in the qualifying examination

  • Must have passed separately in each subject of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

  • Must have passed English as a subject


3. For Lateral Entry to B.Tech (Diploma Holders)
:

  • Must have passed a three-years diploma in the respective engineering discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from AICTE recognized institute.


4. Lateral Entry to B.Tech for B.Sc.Graduates
:

  • Must have passed B.Sc. with  a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized University

  • Must have Mathematics as a subject in B.Sc


5. B.Arch
:

  • Pass in Class XII (CBSE or equivalent)

  • Must have passed with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in the qualifying examination

  • must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics as a subject in Class XII

    OR

  • 10+3 years diploma in Architecture recognized by the Central, State Governments

  • Must have qualified in the National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture.


For students appearing in the qualifying examination in 2013
:

Such candidates will have to submit the final result of qualifying degree on or before September 30, 2013 to the Concerned Dean/Principal/Director of the respective Institute where the admission has been granted.

The Concerned Dean/Principal/Director must submit these details to the Joint Registrar (Admissions), Academic Reception Counter, Administrative Block, GGS Indraprastha University, Sec 16 C, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078 duly signed by the authority within 07 days of submission, i.e. 7th October 2013

About IPU CET 2013: IPU CET is the entrance exam conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University to provide admission to the eligible candidates for various courses in engineering in the university.
