About KCET: It is conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority. KCET is a common entrance exam for the admission of eligible candidates in numerous Engineering courses.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
They must have Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer-Science / Electronics / Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study.
They must have attained 45% marks in aggregate in optional subjects to meet the KCET 2014 Eligibility Criteria.
- They must have fulfilled the Domicile Criteria as specified by the KEA authorities
Karnataka CET 2014 Selection Procedure: based on the scores of KCET 2014.
Karnataka CET 2014 Exam Pattern: KCET Exam Pattern 2014 will be based on four subjects namely Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry pertaining 60 marks each. All these subjects will comprise of the 60 questions each.
Karnataka CET 2014 Application Fees: Fees for general category is Rs. 650 (Rs 500 for SC, ST and OBC).
Application Fee can be paid via: Bank challan or DD in favour of "Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority", payable at Bangalore.
- Candidates must download the Bank Challan and pay the application fees in any one of the banks - State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank and Central Bank of India. (From March 8 to 17, 2014)
- Candidates may also pay through DD as specified above (till April 1, 2014)
Candidates can avail the application forms from their respective schools / colleges in Karnataka after submitting the KEA copy of the bank challan.
They should fill all the particulars in this form and must affix their left hand thumb impression in the space provided in KCET 2014 Application Form.
They should submit the duly filled in Application Form of Karnataka CET 2014 to the principal of their respective colleges / schools by April 10, 2014
After submitting, candidates must collect their KCET 2014 Admit Cards from the respective colleges / schools on the specified dates.
