Karnataka PGCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria for GATE qualified Candidates:
The first preference is given to candidates with valid GATE scores.
The candidates with valid GATEscores are exempted from the Karnataka PGCET 2013
However they have fill the application form and must meet the domicile conditions as specified
Karnataka PGCET 2013 Eligibility Criteriafor Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE) and University B.D.T College of Engineering, Davangere(UBDTCE):
Candidatesmust havepassed B.E. / B. Tech / B.Arch. Degree or equivalent with an minimum of 50% marks taken in aggregate of all subjects for all years/semesters(45% of marks for SC, ST and Category-I candidates)
Karnataka PGCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech from Dept. of PG Studies and Research in Mathematics and Computer Science of Kuvempu University:
Candidate must have passed B.Sc. from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of thesubjects

Karnataka PGCET 2013 Eligibility Criteria for all M.Tech courses:
Candidates must have studied at least seven years in one or more Government or Governmentrecognized educational institutions located in the State of Karnataka
The period of study can commence from 1st standard to qualifying examination either continuously or inbroken period as on 1st July, 2013
For candidates who have failed and required more than an year to pass the qualifying exam, the years of study will be counted as one year only
