MT CET 2014 will comprise of the admission process of eligible candidates to the various engineering courses in Maharashtra. About MT CET 2014: MT CET has been scrapped and engineering aspirants of Maharashtra have been directed to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) from the year 2014 onwards.

MT CET was the annual entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra Government to provide admissions to the various engineering courses offered by the colleges in Maharashtra till 2013.


MT CET 2014 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have appeared for the JEE Main 2014.

MHT CET 2014 Selection Procedure:
on the basis of the scores in JEE Main 2014 and HSC or Class XII or equivalent exam.

MT CET 2014 Paper Pattern:
There will be no separate exam. Candidates must check the JEE Main 2014 Paper Pattern.

MT CET 2014 Counselling Process 

  • Candidates have to apply online for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP)

    Counselling Fees of Rs 700 (Rs 500 for SC/ST/BC) to be paid via DD/Pay Order in favour of “The Director, Technical Education, Maharashtra State” Payable at “Mumbai” drawn on any Scheduled/Nationalised/Commercial Bank

  • There will be three rounds of CAP

  • After submission of applications online, candidates have to take the printout of the same along with original documents and report at the designated Application Receipt Centres (ARCs) for verification
