About Maharashtra B.Tech Admission 2015: Earlier, MT CET was held to give admissions to candidates in engineering colleges of Maharashtra. But now, MT CET has been scrapped and engineering aspirants of Maharashtra have been directed to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) from the year 2014 onwards.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission 2015 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have appeared for the JEE Main 2015.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission 2015 Selection Procedure: on the basis of the common composite scores calculated  on the basis of JEE Main 2015 and HSC or Class XII or equivalent exam normalized score in the ratio 50:50.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission 2015 Paper Pattern: There will be no separate exam. Candidates must check the JEE Main 2015 Paper Pattern.

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission 2015 Application Process: Candidates have to apply for JEE Main 2015. Once they qualify, they have to apply for the Maharashtra B.Tech Admissions 2015 through CAP.

  • Application fees: Rs 700 (Rs 500 for SC/ST/PD) to be paid in cash at any of the Application Receipt Centres (ARCs).

  • J&K Migrants have to pay Rs 700 in cash at designated branch of Axis Bank

  • Candidates have to purchase the Application Kit comprising of the Application ID and a password to log in and compete the online Application form for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP)

Maharashtra B.Tech Admission 2015 Counselling Process:  

  • Candidates have to apply online for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) after the publication of the composite merit score of the candidates calculated on the basis of the JEE Main 2015 scores and the normalized marks of Class XII or equivalent in the ratio 50:50.

  • There will be four rounds of CAP out of which the fourth round will be only for Maharashtra candidates

  • After submission of applications online, candidates have to take the printout of the same along with original documents and report at the designated Application Receipt Centres (ARCs) for verification

  • They have to fill the choices and pay admission fees on allotment as per the pecified guidelines of DTE Maharashtra.
