Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has postponed the dates for COMEDK UGET 2017 by a week. The test dates are revised for undergraduate engineering streams only. According to COMEDK officials, “UGET 2017 for Engineering courses will now be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017. Eligibility criteria notified earlier will remain unchanged.” Earlier, the entrance exam was scheduled to be held on May 7.
The decision of postponing the test dates for engineering UG has been taken to avoid the clash between COMEDK UGET and NEET 2017, which were earlier supposed to take place on the same day, May 7, 2017. As many students would appear for both the exams – NEET and COMEDK UGET 2017, the consortium decided to postpone the dates of COMEDK UGET 2017 by a week. The decision will facilitate the students to take both the exams.
