Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa has announced Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) for admissions to undergraduate engineering programme for academic year 2017-2018. GCET 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on May 9 and May 10, 2017 in offline mode. Through Goa CET 2017, admissions are offered to more than 1300 seats of Bachelor of Engineering at state engineering colleges. GCET 2017 is conducted on different days for each paper including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

GCET Application Form 2017 will be available from the last week of March 2017 onwards.
Applicants can pay the application fee of GCET 2017 through Demand Draft of Rs. 1,500 drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” payable at Panaji, Goa. The DD and application form must be send through post to “Chairman, Admission Committee, Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim, Goa – 403521”.
In order to apply for GCET 2017, the candidates must ensure that they meet all the required eligibility criteria of GCET 2017. GCET is a state level entrance exam which is conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes across the state engineering colleges. Admission through GCET 2017 will be offered to qualifying candidates in government colleges, centrally funded or state government funded technical institutions, minority institutes and private or self funded technical institutions.
