HAL Recruitment through GATE 2017 - Candidates who are appearing for the GATE 2017 exam in ME, EE, EC or CE can fill the online application forms for the HAL Recruitment through GATE which is available from January 11, 2017(2.00 PM) . Candidates must also upload their recent photograph as per specifications. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), a Navratna Central Public Sector Undertaking, had announced the recruitment of 125 graduate engineers for the posts of Management Trainee in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Civil engineering and Design trainee in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering. Candidates can apply for any one post only. Eligible applicants will be shortlisted for the next stage of the recruitment on the basis of their GATE 2017 scores. Eligibility Criteria for HAL Recruitment through GATE
Eligibility Parameters for HAL
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology or its equivalent (Full Time) (4 years after
10 +2) from the Institutes / Universities recognized by AICTE
Only full time and regular courses wil be considered
AMIE Candidates in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Civil engineering are also eligible
Gen /OBC NCL Category – 65%
The marks must be the aggregate of all the Semesters / Years or corresponding CGPA Ratings / Gradations
Final year students
At the time of applying :
SC/ST/PWD candidates must have secured minimum 55% marks in aggregate
This is upto the last semester/ year examination at the time of applying.
For Selection :
Candidates must have fulfilled the above eligibility criteria for their B.Tech or equivalent and must submit documentary proof of their passing at the time of interview
Candidates should not have any active backlog papers in their qualifying exam as on the date of Interview.
OBC NCL Reservation Certificate as on February 7, 2017
Candidates must not belong to creamy layer and the caste & community of the candidate must be listed in the ‘Central list of Other Backward Classes’
Candidates need to furnish their OBC certificate as per the format prescribed by the Government of India
The certificate must not older than six months from February 7, 2017 when presented at the time of interview.

How to fill the application for the HAL Recruitment through GATE 2017:
Candidates must fill their GATE Registration Number as mentioned in their GATE 2016 Admit Card
They must enter their Name and other personal details as mentioned in the GATE 2017 Application Form
They must enter the details of their nationality, category, address.
They must also mention their mobile and Email ID
They must also upload their recent photo with a file size of 180 KB
After submitting the application, a unique HAL Application No will be generated. Candidates must note this down.

After Selection Details for HAL Recruitment through GATE
Training & Probation: Selected candidates will have to undergo a training for 52 weeks. During this time they will be posted in any of the Production, Overhaul or Services Divisions / Research & Design Centres / Offices as per equirments. Training will comprise of theoretical & on-the-job training at various places. However the location where the candidates will be posted after selection will be decided before joing the company.
After the completion of probation period of one year, candidates will be absorbed as "Engineers" in Grade-II.
Pay Scale: During the training period, candidates will draw a Stipend comprising of Basic Pay of Rs. 16400/- plus Variable Dearness Allowance & Canteen Allowance.
After they complete their probation period, , they shall be eligibile for a Pay Scale of Rs. 16,400-40,500/-and Variable Dearness Allowance, other Perks & Allowances under Cafeteria system, Company Accommodation / House Rent Allowance, Performance Related Pay (variable pay), Leave, Medical Facilities, Provident Fund, Gratuity. Other superannuation benefits, etc. These will be as per the company rules applicable from time to time.
Service Agreement Bond: Selected candidates need to execute a service agreement to serve HAL for 5 years. This is excluding the probation or trtaining period of 1 year. If they breach any terms and conditions during the probation or after absorption, they will be liable to reimburse the company the sum incurred for training , recruitment, all expenses and remuneration paid subject to a maximum of Rs 5 lakhs.
