Admissions to B.Tech programmes at Karunya University will no longer be conducted on the basis of entrance examination, formerly called as Karunya University Entrance Exam (KEE). For the admission year 2017-18, the university will conduct direct admissions for undergraduate engineering programmes. Karunya University has changed the admission process of B.Tech programmes, wherein as per the new process, aspiring candidates have to fill an application form for B.Tech programmes along with a fee payment of Rs. 51,000.
Careers360 spoke to Karunya University officials, where the officials informed that after the provisional admission is confirmed by submitting the application form along with the prescribed fee, the university will conduct a small competitive exam. However, no further details were shared about the changed admission procedure.

Karunya University has released the admission application form on November 11, 2016, wherein the aspiring candidates have to submit their “Expression of Interest” (EOI) online about the desired undergraduate engineering programme. Once a candidate submits the EOI, he/she will receive an Application Number and Pass Code on their registered email ID and mobile number. Using this application number and pass code, the candidates have to fill and submit their application form for B.Tech admissions along with the initial fee of Rs. 51,000 through online/DD/cash/electronic payment.
Submission of application form along with the fee would confirm provision admissions of the applicants. However, the final admission would be confirmed after the university will conduct a competitive exam.
Candidates can avail any one from the below mentioned scholarship offered by the university:
Jesus Calls Young Partners can avail a one-time scholarship of Rs.50,000.
Wards of Alumni/Staff can avail a one-time scholarship of Rs.50,000.
Siblings of current students/alumunus of Karunya University can avail one-time scholarship of Rs.30,000.
Child of a pastor/missionary from registered church or missionary organization can avail one-time scholarship of Rs.20,000.
Girl students, who are not eligible for any of the above scholarships, can avail a one-time scholarship of Rs.20,000.
However, one student is eligible for any one of the above scholarships.
Apart from these scholarships, students can also avail:
Institutional scholarships (Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Memorial Educational Scholarship) for economically weaker sections
Scholarship upto 100% fee concession for sports quota students, including hostel fee.
