NALCO to recruit 55 Graduate Engineer Trainees through GATE 2016
National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Navratna company, has announced recruitment of 55 Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) on the basis of their performance in GATE 2016. Online application form is available from November 4 to December 3. Engineering graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Chemical streams can apply provided they fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria. Candidates can apply for the post of GETs in following disciplines.
Prescribed full time degrees
Chemical Engineering/M.Tech in Applied Chemistry
GET in Mechanical
GET in Electrical
GET in Civil
GET in Chemical
Schedule Caste (SC)
Schedule Tribe (ST)
Other Backward Classes (OBC)
Candidates must have appeared and qualified in GATE 2016.
On November 4, 2016, their age should not be more than 30 years.
Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech degree from a recognised institute.
They must have secured at least 65% aggregate marks. There is relaxation of 10% aggregate marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category. They require a minimum of 55% marks.
Candidates will be shortlisted for personal interview round on the basis of their GATE 2016 score. Those, who will perform exceptionally well, will be recruited.
The application form for applying in NALCO is available online. Candidates are required to enter their personal, contact and qualification details. They will have to upload the official documents (scanned copy of GATE 2016 Admit Card, Passport size photograph, signature and mark sheets). At last, candidates have to read and sign declaration and then submit the application form.
