SRM University has released SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) Application Form 2017 in online mode on November 18 for aspirants seeking admissions to UG engineering programmes across its four campuses located in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and NCR (National Capital Region). Resident Indian, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligibile to apply for SRMJEEE 2017, whereas NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India who do not appear for the exam, can apply under International student category only.

Applicants have to pay Rs.1,060 per slot as application/exam fee through e-payment/Unique Voucher code. The application form of SRMJEEE 2017 will be considered complete only after the candidates have paid the application fee.
The university will conduct the online entrance tests from April 1 to 30. Moreover, the tests will be held again from May 1 to June 30 in case there are any lapsed/cancelled seats. The result of the entrance exam will be declared on May 2. SRMJEEE 2017 Counselling phase I will be conducted in SRM University from May 5 to 9, while the phase II will be held online from May 11 onwards only for B.Tech programmes where vacancies would exist.
Around 1.80 lakh candidates appear for approximately 7,000 undergraduate engineering seats in SRMJEEE every year that is conducted in online mode for admissions to B.Tech programmes offered across the University campuses.
