Tata Power has invited applications for recruitment of Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) from engineering graduates in various disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Controls & Instrumentation and Power engineering. The application form for GET batch 2017 will be available online in March. Candidates will be recruited on the basis of their performance in GATE 2017. Shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussions and personal interviews.

Candidates wishing to apply for this position must have:
A valid GATE score
Passed out with engineering degree in 2017 batch in disciplines mentioned above from institution recognized by UGC/AICTE
Minimum 60% in all exams i.e. SSE, HSE, graduation (all semester) with no year drop or ATKT
A structured induction programme will be carried out for the trainees. They will have to undergo a one-year induction training programme which will comprise following:
Tata Power and Tata Group Induction
- Class room training
- On the Job training
Managerial Skill Development
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE 2017 scores.
They will be called for Personal Interview and Group Discussions.
Those, who will perform well in the GD & PI, will be recruited.

Eligible candidates can apply online in the month of March 2017.
Candidates will also have to submit their allocated GATE 2017 registration number (written on admit card, which will be issued on January 5).
Apart from this, they will also have to submit their personal, educational and other details.
