Tripura JEE 2017 to be held on April 26 & 27; application starts from Jan 2
Tripura JEE 2017 will be conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) in offline mode on April 26 and 27. The state level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes across its participating institutes will be conducted in morning and evening session. According to TBJEE officials, the paper for Physics & Chemistry will be conducted on April 26, however, Physics paper will be held from 11 am to 1 pm, while the paper for Chemistry will be conducted from 2 to 4 pm. Mathematics paper for Tripura JEE 2017 will be conducted on April 27 from 11 am to 1 pm.
Apart from the exam dates, the board has also announced other important dates related to application form and answer key.
As per the official announcement, the application form for Tripura JEE 2017 will be available at the office of the TBJEE (Old Secretariat Complex, Finance building, ground floor.) from January 2, 2017 to January 31, 2017 on all working days from 11.30 am to 3 pm. (excluding Sunday and all other holidays) on payment of Rs. 100 in cash. The application form can also be collected from some colleges and centres.

Aspiring candidates can also opt for getting the application form through postal order on payment of Rs. 100 (per form and prospectus). The postal order is to be drawn in favour of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, payable at Agartala Head Post Office. All postal requests must be accompanied by a self addressed envelop of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of Rs. 5 affixed on it.

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/Technological Degree Courses (Group - A) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to Agricultural/Veterinary/Fishery and other such professional degree courses (Group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And those candidates, who desire to take chances in both of the above groups will have to appear in all the four subjects (Group-C).
