Yes, the previous year cut off is 8834 for CSE in this College, you have a chance that you will get this college if cutoff decreases this year.For that you need to wait till 3rd or 4th round of counselling.

see wbjeeb is the state entrance test of west bengal, based on wbjeeb score all government and private engineering colleges btech admission is done. now every year cutoff score changes and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc. considering you as general category student you have decent chances for information technology in jalpaiguri government engineering college as for previous years cutoff.  you may use wbjeeb college predictor tools by careers360 to know your probable college names,

According to your WBJEE Rank if you are from the general category you will not be able to get into Jadavpur University as the cut off for General Category for 3 rounds are as follows:

• Round-1:49-1259
• Round-2: 69 to 1032
• Round-3: 69 -1135

But if you are in other categories Like in SC ST or OBC you can get into Jadavpur University

As per last year there are three rounds of counselling in this college. In the first round, the opening and closing rank for this 4 years is,

Computer Science Engineering : Opening Rank - 5066 and Closing Rank - 12784

So you will get the chance in the first round counselling.

The 1st year fees is 1,30,200 INR and the Uniform and Brochure Charges( one time fees) is 6,100 INR.

see west Bengal joint engineering entrance test is a state wise entrance test, students of west bengal as well as other state students participate in this exam every year. top colleges like jadavpur university, kalyani university, agriculture university , government engineering colleges of west bengal, as well as around 80+ private colleges engineering admission is based on wbjeeb entrance score. now since computer science is one of the demanding stream right now you have less chances in government colleges at this score. however you have decent chances in colleges like netaji subhas engineering college, heritage institute of technology, haldia institute of technology, rcc institute of information technology etc.

however cutoff score changes every year , depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc.
